The assassins got away with it. Yurovsky intended to bury the family, but chose instead to pitch their bodies into an open mineshaft when discovering the drunken Ermakov only brought one shovel. A handful of the guards attempted to frisk valuables off of the corpses while they were being stripped for burial, but were ordered to surrender them at gunpoint by a furious Yurovsky. Two of them lifted the skirt of the dead Alexandra and fingered her genitals, later commenting how they can "die in peace" after having touched the "royal cunt."

Once the bodies were heaved into the mineshaft and doused in sulphuric acid to disfigure the corpses, Yurovsky changed plans again when he realized that the mud at the bottom of the shaft was insufficient to cover the remains. Yurovsky was STILL unsatisfied, however, so he later ordered two of the corpses exhumed (Alexei and one of his sisters--possibly Anastasia--notable because Alexei was buried first; the men would have had to sift through the corpses to pull his body out from underneath). Their bodies were burned in a bonfire, their charred bones smashed into splinters with spades, then tossed into a smaller pit that did not go discovered until August 2007.

Yurovsky reportedly had no regrets about what he did. He donated the guns he used in the execution to the Museum of Revolution in Moscow, and shortly before his death wrote that the October revolution had made him the "happiest of mortals."

I don't know the answer to that, user. Truth is I became jaded about internet political "conversation" a long time ago. As far as I'm concerned, the last time any anons had any honest discussion about anything of value was in 2016, right on the precipice of the election, when there was a lot of incentive to seek truth and improve yourself. The moment the election landed on our doorstep was when all political conversations became a poisoned well forever due to factionalizing and misinformation. It's possible you're just too late to the party.

I recommend you find people who are like-minded in intellectual honesty and just think tank with them. Read some books or watch documentaries--history, crime, philosophy, psychology--to sharpen what you know. If someone around here actually starts saying interesting or valuable things, listen and engage with them. Only effortpost when appropriate.
