Does anyone want to guess how the conversation about ending the show went? Who do you think was the one that initiated it? I'm willing to bet it was Dean (Jensen). I feel the other two could probably keep going for another 2 seasons, but Jensen was starting to feel like he was done with the show. Maybe he felt the writing wasn't as good as it could be anymore? And then Jared started crying and Misha doesn't really have too much of a say since the core of the show is Sam and Dean. Castiel can come and go .....but without either Sam or Dean then the show is done.
yeah it's most likely Jensen but not because he hates the show. I think it's a smart decision to end it while they have a primordial being on the show and while the storyline is still cohesive. They all have multiple kids and it's getting harder for them to keep doing the show, that's why they trimmed season 14 down from 23 episodes to 20

yeah no im enjoying season 13-14 and I think they're mostly great but the only post-Kripke season to approach season 5 quality is still only 11.
BUT, season 5 just had the apocalipse and Dean's struggle to say yes to Mike, season 15 has that -kinda- but it also has Lucifer, his souless son, Mary, etc etc

the Thing was great. Breakdown was kino MOTW with actual attempts at horror, an apocalypse world with vampires was very reminiscent of "Wendigo" and overall a lot of monsters in the alternate universes have more effort in their prosthetics

Im going to admit to not keeping up very closely with news regarding the ending of Supernatural. With Wayward Sisters and Bloodlines out of the way are we looking at any spinoffs at this point or are we stuck waiting for the next show to popup

Nobody knows really. It’s a waiting game at this point. If the CW really wants to keep a sizeable portion of their viewers and income, they will scramble to have a Supernatural spinoff because Supernatural is still currently their 2nd best performer ratings wise and the new occult shows they’re offering aren’t drawing in as many viewers. Then again you have to wonder why Supernatural still doesn’t have one after so many years so something else far more sinister or extraneous must be affecting these decisions.
