Save yourself the time and don't watch Isle of Dogs

The Searchers is pretty great. I'd say that one. Also Dr. Strangelove is a must at some point at least. It's a lot of fun, especially if you've only ever seen Kubrick later outings. Ever see Paths of Glory? Highly suggest you give that one a watch too at some point.

If you're looking for a more modern movie that's just for pure entertainment, then go with either John Wick or It Follows. Both are very different from each other, but really well shot and genuinely fun movies to relax to.

If neither of those, then I'd go with Rome.

The Searchers. Outrageously comfy and it's one of John Wayne's better movies. It's Bone Tomahawk for grown ups.
