I honestly thought the older Spider-man from Spiderverse would be played by Toby who was the Spiderman from Rami's films. It would have been the perfect opportunity. Instead, apparently, it's the 616 comics version that's the future canon of Parker, which is strange, because the comics retconned Parker's marriage and Marvel would never make Parker that old.
