So what’s the general consensus on this kino?

I thought good hunting had a terrible story and ugly animation
It's everything from shit to fucking shit.
They managed to make everything feel generic, no matter how fantastical the location or plot.
There were maybe two or three episodes that weren't irredeemably bad.
>There were maybe two or three episodes that weren't irredeemably bad.
Which ones?
Video game cutscenes
They want the video games + ADHD crowd
Imagine spending hours watching something you think is shit and thinking people will believe you didn't like it
>two or three episodes that weren't irredeemably bad
Which ones?
Because I watched the first episode with the tentacle lizard remote controlled mannequin monster and the spidey episode and they were meh
Mcdonalds and reddit
Fuck Fincher, I was hyped for this
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>*loves you unconditionally and eternally*
what do
>that fuckhole
Since she can make herself look like absolutely anyone there's literally no downside
I would have to fuck her in her real form at least once, just to know
Who am I kidding I would probably do it every week
It's a varied anthology of short stories, there was always that hope that the next one might be good, and sometimes it was. It's not like I spent 10 hours watching a terrible show I knew I hated.
>Which ones?
"Beyond the Aquila Rift" wasn't bad, it was memorable at least.
"Zima Blue" was good.
"When the Yogurt Took Over" was my favourite because it was short and sweet. And it has Maurice LaMarche.
"Good Hunting" was visually enjoyable.
Don't really want to elaborate on the plots, they're all short and explaining any further would kind of spoil them.
IMAGINE
This. Or at least the ones that were animated in a more realistic style.
Almost all of them followed the same formula: Something's happening that leads up to a climactic action scene than there's a little twist at the end.
Also this. I'm guessing the target audience for this crap was geeks and kids.
She did literally nothing wrong
Oh so now it goes from 'everything from shit to fucking shit' to 'next one might be good, it wasn't so bad' to 'several of these were good'. Let me know how that schizophrenia works out for you.
Say what you want but when I wasn't sitting a foot away from the screen (I have a tv unlike you incels watching at your desk) there were a couple where it was hard to distinguish CGI from live-action, I could watch a full-length film with that quality granted it held up the whole time
Yeah, this one was the only one that was interesting. Too bad the animation style was so generic and boring "realistic video game" type. I really don't understand the appeal of that animation style. The human characters looks so real yet not entirely which just makes them uncanny and creepy yo look at.
Aaaawwww yessss. Time for some sex with a hot alien babe.
I hated watching that because just when you started getting interested in a story it ended.
As a whole I would still say it's shit, I'm not suddenly changing my mind on that. Individually there were some decent ones, I said that in my first post, but 80% shit is still shit.
And 'everything from shit to fucking shit' is just a Norm Macdonald quote
I don't know why you're seething so much user, but seek help.
complete shit to video game cut scenes to semi decent adaptation of sci fi shorts
also in an attempt to be more "adult" some of them have """adult""" content shoehorned just for 15 year old sock value
Zima Blue was the only good episode. Everything else ranged from okay to absolute waste of time.
Do I have to be Americano to understand this series?
The first one made me laugh in how americans depict "mature themes". Short haired dykes screaming "fuck" a lot and some hot lesbo action for the gamers!
Fucking sad, but most American "adults" are stuck in eternal adolescence.
Yeah I wish it was longer tho. Ends way too abruptly
absolute unwatchable trash
not for the woke elements, but the for the abysmal quality of the plots: literally made for 13yo male cishet gamers
some have good animation tho, but the rest is just PS4-tier
>I could watch a full-length film with that quality
So could I, I think the series works as a proof of concept for computer animated shows and movies, but as shorts they did not work. Every single episode would have benefited from more backstory and world building.
Damn, some of you literally are obsessed.
>I could watch a full-length film with that quality
Wtf I just ask whether I have to be Americano to like it?????
Why would that question ever formulate in your mind to begin with?
Rank them.
Sonnie's Edge
Three Robots
The Witness
Suits
Sucker of Souls
When the Yogurt Took Over
Beyond the Aquila Rift
Good Hunting
The Dump
Shape-Shifters
Helping Hand
Fish Night
Lucky 13
Zima Blue
Blindspot
Ice Age
Alternate Histories
The Secret War
>Which piece of shit is the least repulsive?
Waste of time.
The Witness was the most gorgeous
Zima Blue looks like a Euro cartoon
When the Yogurt Took Over is mildly funny
the rest is soulless immature trash with ugly hyper-realistic CG
Me no comprende Ingles
Not him but there could presumably be some content which doesn't make much sense outside of US culture.
The US army episode for instance.
I don't want to arrange them all, but
>Best:
Zima Blue, followed closely by When the Yogurt Took Over
>Worst:
Alternate Histories, tied with Sonnie's Edge
well it's not kino for a start. it's pretty average. it's just standing out amongst a sea of netflix shit.
>three shorts near the beginning happen to have sexual violence against women
>Twitter loses their minds and warns people not to watch the series altogether
Them starting the series off with Sonnie's Edge was a mistake
Another pleb filtered
>everyone in this thread is one person
I mean, Black Mirror started with the PM fucking a pig. Sometimes you just gotta dive in
With the way Netflix has the series laid out, I actually accidentally watched USS Callister first instead of that.
Still just as jarring a juxtaposition though
Why are you on twitter, faggot?
Not that good
Trash.
I enjoyed watching the series. I liked Sonnie's Edge. I didn't particularly care for Zima Blue.

the rest
The character designs were ugly. The animation was meh.
lol wtf is this shit
Zima blue is for redditors , secret war is the only kino
I love it personally.
>Blindspot
Gave me serious Megaman Legends vibes, loved it purely because I imagined this in a comfy ps1 videogame way.
>Good Hunting
Visually beautiful, great setting and narration was good. Felt like Jackie Chan Adventures and Samurai Jack spitroasted Dishonored.
>Lucky 13
Touching in a way. Also got Warhammer 40k vibes cause the story may be your usual "Human forms bond with other creature/robot, feels when one makes the sacrifice", but to me it was more like "Don't fuck with Machine Spirits"
>Zima Blue
Has a lovely message and artstyle, well paced and packs so much in such a short timeframe. I know how fucking difficult it is to cram all that info in a short, but also how difficult it is to have every bit of it actually matter.
>Suits
A lot seem to dislike this one and/or ascribe some horseshit allegory to "colonization bad" but really, it's just a fun Starcraft-y story with a good dose of Humanity, Fuck Yeah. Comfy.
>Beyond the Aquila Rift
I think this one's my favourite. Some seemed unnecessary, like the sex scene but can be excused within the context of the film and Greta's goal to make Thom more comfortable. The reveal is gorgeous and the reveal was pure fucking Beksinski. The implication of the end, the truth of it, gorgeous. I don't even give a shit about the photorealistic look, I think the realism helped hammer in the guy's situation during the reveal.
>Sonnie's Edge
I like this because the film is geared to make you think it's an SJW tumblr fanfiction but the ending reveals that nobody (including the audience) can get over the whole "muh rape" shit. Straight from the main character's mouth. Also it's just cool to have the sentient beast angle. Fight scene was great.
>Shapeshifters
Pretty cool concept and I love proper werewolves and military shit. Camaraderie/Brotherhood stuff always gets me.
>Secret War
Again, military, brotherhood etc. Also pretty cool and as a fa/tg/uy it got me interested in gaming settings like this.
Vastly overrated. Even the shittiest Dreamworks animation is better than this shit.
>Shapeshifters
>Pretty cool concept and I love proper werewolves and military shit. Camaraderie/Brotherhood stuff always gets me.
jeeeeezus it was objectively terrible (the stiff animation, the mindless military/US propaganda, the lame werewolf theme that was already tacky in the 50's, the boring desert setting, the soulless cinematrography) you might be the pebliest pleb ITT how old are you?
(reconsider your life pls)
>Secret War
Again, military, brotherhood etc. Also pretty cool and as a fa/tg/uy it got me interested in gaming settings like this.
daily reminder that /k/fags are unable to grasp beauty and art, your brains aren't wired for that
>I would probably do it every day
ftfy
it's just generic netflix garbage
This is just a redditized version of the Dororo episode from a while ago
I like it user
Cute moe is cute even if it's spiderfu
