Since season 15 is confirmed to be the last one, who will be the final bad guy teased at the end of this season? Lucifer had his chance but he will be a side character at most. At this point it's either:
1. Soulless jack, possibly with a powerup gained after they obviously try to put him in the death coffin and fail
2. The empty pissed off because everyone suddenly wakes up around him
3. God, since Castiel is trying to call him back into the story and alt-michael hinted at the multiverse being a consequence of God's failed experiments and the reason Michael wanted to kill him

Checked. And it’s true. Now the main goal is to virtue signal instead of telling a universally relatable story that will stand the test of time. Subtlety is thrown out of the window and metaphors are barely used. Instead of using an allegory that could be applied to different meanings, they are as subtle as a sledge hammer.
I have recently come to realize that the new media/TV landscape is a major limiting factor. Supernatural is a vestige of the previous decades and despite its multiple potential for spin-off shows, its core message is too different from what networks want to sell these days. Which is a shame. I have come to realize that the reason I can’t find new occult shows is now they throw away the concept of redeemed/reformed villains that earn their reward. Now the new shows just straight up paint monsters and demons in a good light to subvert for subversion’s sake, cheapening classic struggle for good vs evil occult shows are usually set in. It’s the end of an era, lads

I watched Dominion circa Supernatural 9 the worst shit ever I jumped ship and watched Constantine and found it great but found it was canceled. And then I wandered the desert and tried all sorts of shit like AHS, and gave up for a while. After about 3 years I went back to Supernatural like the prodigal/wayward son that I was and was relieved to find out that the show has significantly improved by season 11

love the movie, love the show. Constantine (2015) TV series offered some of the best MOTWs I've seen, rivalling peak Supernatural's MOTWs. However, it's been cut short due to the cancellation. Heard Constantine has an animated second season and continues his story in CW's Legends of Tomorrow where he fucks Alt-Michael's discarded vessel but I haven't really followed anything else since his Live Action series ended

i just want to thank all the dedicated supernatural posters in these threads the post them and keep the up. there have been days over the last several months where posting in here has been the highlight of my day. there were a few lean years for the show where all we had was a skeleton crew for the live threads and almost nothing between shows and i was the one holding this community together but that last 3 or so seasons others have stepped up and taking over the challenge doing a much better job than i did so thanks to all of you anons
