Behold, the one true capekino.

that movie was hilarously bad.

That's not Jet Li's Black Mask or even Alec Baldwin's The Shadow.

It was shit you idiot, just like every other capeshit. Also fuck you

Tell us what you didn't like about it

What a waste of McAvoy's talents
They should've made Split 2 instead of this garbage

awful, artificial soundig dialogue
nonsensical plot with the big twist being visibe for miles
bruce willis looked bored like he didnt want to have anything to do with this movie, cant blame him
action scenes were terrible. take a shot every time there is a closeup shot of a person being choked. then say goodbye to your liver
pacing was all over the place, the second act dragged on for painfully long, boring time
glass felt like a smart characer written by a stupid person, indistingushable from a wizard

the movie was unnecessary, the premise forced, and the metacommentary on the superhero genre hamfisted and shallow.

the only redeeming quality it had was mcavoy's acting.

OK how the fuck was it obvious they all died at the hands of (the secret society hiding in plain sight)? It wasn't obvious at all and wasn't even hinted at in previous movies
The rest I agree on it was pretty forgettable which is shame I was expecting split and unbreakable maybe with another new hero thrown into the mix instead I get the last action hero 100% sadder with comic book crap shoved in.

>the metacommentary on the superhero genre
it was meant to be a metaphor for modern society

i mean the fact that the redhead doctor wasnt trying to help with their delusion but was trying to quell/use them. she had way too many resources to be a simple reseacher

That was very expected even knew that from the trailer, but I didn't see the secret society coming or expected the recordings of the fight

fpbp. The "comics are actually historical documents"premise is hilariously forced and plain nonsense. In general, the story doesn't make any sense, e.g. when the girl finds this comic that depicts what she had witnessed. There is no reasoning behind what sarah paulson and her weirdo group is doing. And on top of this, the superpowers of both bruce willis and mcavoy are basically that they are as strong as three grown men and the beast can hug you very hard. Wow, this truly is world changing. Hint, it isn't. The acting was terrible and the face-down scene cliched to the max.

No you retard. I'm not saying the movie was amazing, but the point is that comics were based on "super" people like Dunn and Elijah. Comics are simply gross exaggerations of what these super people used to do to the world.

terrible.

not a surprise: one year between the release of SPLIT and GLASS, with a hack writer and director on command.

it could be a cool thriller of david, son and the girl fightinh for the beast soul, serial killing like never before, with the help of glass...

nope. not enough money. lets do all at one place and put the ugliest mother fucking women ever too, because why not?

almost 20 years, for this.

Damn bro 3 typical guys can flip a car?

BRB gotta lift

It was kino until It wasnt

> bruce willis does his shit for almost 20 years
> buys ugly doctor whole argument about he being just crazy

this movie works until they capture dunn and the beast, after that its all pure trash.

> know that these guys are people with powers
> the security is a bunch of nurses

fuck you, indian mother fucker, fuck you very much.

Willis' character and his son are written as kind of slower than average people. Dunn should have just asked to be blind fold and put into a room with strangers to show case his powers, but I watch Unbreakable right before I saw Glass, he's bit of a dummy and would not and probably could not think of a simple test to prove his powers exist

Dunn was contained, could not get past the water. Glass was a blind spot, wtf was he doing for a decade plus? Probably have to fix that with a sequel. Crumb's containment was straight up dumb off the top of my head he could have escaped 4 ways. But if they confined to a maximum security facility it would have ruined the illusion that the doctor wanted to maintain, that they mostly normal. Dunn is dumb but he works security even he could figure out if he was heavily guarded it would mean he was more dangerous than the doctor would have them believe.

the motivations are all clashing against each other, thats the problem of coming out with script, sets, the whole production, to come out at the same time the other movie did a year later.

it could be a great thriller and they turned into a confuse clusterfuck.

you could put some badass person with know how to deal with these guys as nurses. who would notice? theyre not that important but "theres 100 cameras to look at you" - none of them will, anyway.

its bad.
its shit.

and its annoying because it could be, at least, a decent movie.

clearly poop man and the jew company just wanted to make a quick buck and they deliver something so bad that, guess what? it didnt happend.

the critics hate it, the audience hate it and i doubt that people will come back to another shyamalan movie no matter how interesting it sounds.

19 fucking years and bruce willis DIED LIKE A BITCH.

That nigger is 300+lbs and spends his life power lifting, he is by no means an average man

I watched all 3 films back to back. I don't know what you expected.

I am sorry anons, but I was entertained by it

It's not "Last action hero". It was literally stated by Glass as an origin story. It was basically setting up "the first action heroes".
And if you're sad that mcavoy's dead, don't be. This is a cape movie. Odds are he's going to be revived by yet another personality that somehow has regenerative properties or something.

Pretty average in the strongman world

Where manlets are not allowed

In the topic of a possible follow up to glass how would they even do that?

Actually, what ticked me off was how she said she was proficient in curing that specific "disorder" and had done so in the past, yet the three were somehow insistent about "why is there no one but us?" bugged me as bad writing and forced drama.
Then again, it still is, since she literally told them they weren't the only ones with such "disorders".

I also don't buy that the footage was believed by anyone enough to spark controversy. Then again, much like Ajin, the point was to tell other supers who would recognize super powers when they see them that they aren't alone.
That still leaves the fact that Glass glassed the world by dragging out superheroes just so the world becomes like the comics he likes so much, unmindful of others' suffering due to his choice.

Was still fun. 8/10 would recommend.

He awakened a new power during his two decades of imprisonment, rolling on drugs? Maybe he actually has a double power where he's super fragile, but can regenerate from anything? Would explain how he survived all those fractures without scarring or debilitating disability.
If they want to bring a character back, they're spoiled for choice as to how.

lol fuck no

the first movie offers and interesting perspective into a comic book hero story in real world. maybe doest work as well after comic book movies become almost a genre, but at the time, was impressive - and still holds as a good film.

split was fun and the post credit scene, putting that character at the same universe of unbreakable was a nice surprise.

glass has nothing to offer other than oportunism to make a movie, fast and cheap to capitalize into shared universes.

its a trilogy were it seens clear that shyamalan knew what to do on the first two films and have no idea how to end it - and he could come up with something if he wasnt so worried abouto dropping a sequence fast.

one more year and we would have 20 years between one movie and the last and maybe it could be worth it.

You need a 500+ deadlift in order to be able to flip cars. 500 is enough for smaller cars and obviously as you go up you can flip bigger cars. If Beast can throw a 200lb man several feet away then flipping an average cop car should've been much easier for him than it was in the movie.

They say he has a climber physique, which while part of the brainwashing is still implied by Glass to not necessarily be false. Even if you find a mundane explanation for a super power, that still leaves you with a guy that can do superhuman feats.
Anyway, I understand that a climber has more musculature on his upper body than his lower body, particularly in his arms. Throwing a man requires less leverage, so is relatively effortless. Throwing a car requires leverage, which requires lower body power.
What DID trigger my almonds though was how he temporarily ran on all fours. It added nothing to his speed.

two more things:

> why the kids are friends with the mother of the guy who create all this shit? there literally no reason at all. fuck her son and fuck her, get out.

> this agency controls stuff for a whole lot of time but not the press or the internet, they have no resources to claim it was all a hoax. fuck off.

stupid movie.

>they have no resources to claim it was all a hoax. fuck off.
Ever read Ajin? It's a manga that had a similar situation.
Basically, the point of the video isn't to tell the normal people that supers exist, but to inform the supers that they aren't alone, which is exactly what the agency was trying to avoid. If you alone could somehow shut things down with your mind, you would chalk it up to a miracle and leave it at that, most possibly not involving yourself in anything fantastic (they said as much about Dune; they knew about him but let him continue because he limited his exposure, but they had to step in as soon as he interacted with another super). But if you knew that there were others, you'd seek them out, interact with them. Maybe even "team up" to do shenanigans, good or ill. Once supers start getting organized as either good or evil people, conflict gets sparked, and the rest is comic book history, as well as mythology.
Anyway, a normie watching the video would just call it fake, and the agency can release ten other "original and authentic footage" that's a little more obviously fake to discredit that one. A super would recognize actual super powers because he's more familiar with them.

fine premisse, a shame it wasnt done well. maybe in here the scene from TLJ with the kid using the force to get a broom would work.

Eh, I agree that the movie was rushed and had a whole lot of kinks and cracks at the seams, but it also had a lot of good points that let me suspend my disbelief long enough to enjoy it.
If you look at the news reel at the end, it mentions patients at a mental hospital escaping with super powers. Same one they were hosted in. Guess they were keeping more than just the three supers there.

This movie truly sucked and i wanted to like it so bad. All of it just awful.
>create interesting trilogy
>unique take on a now tired concept
>hey lets make all the main characters side characters to some lady doctors boring character

the hole movie felt like it was shot in 2 weeks

Anyone fucking notice the shot in 1:38:17 where the doctor talks to alienfu and they literally only show the back of the doctor's head?

The shot goes on for 11 seconds and they only show the back of the head like sarah paulson wasnt on set for the scene and they used some woman with a wig. Its a pretty fucking bizarre shot

Attached: 1554566899937.png (492x503, 439K)

pic related btw
it goes on holding exactly this shot for 11 seconds while literally only the character who's face ISNT shown, speaks (the doctor)

The mistake of this movie was being released too early. Shamalidong should've worked on it for more 2 years before releasing this shit, it's not like capeshit trend will fade after Avengers 4.

(((someone))) couldnt wait for that sweet money

>Fiat
>car

>artificial soundig dialogue
That's every capeflick though.
