I watched the first episode. It was kinda boring. But then again, I find everything boring nowadays.
yes absolutely, show is based as fuck.
>white male protags one of them CIA
>no homoshit between men
>no sjw shit
>no niggers shoved in
>no tranny shit
>ksenia Solo is a qt
>ayy lmao conspiracy comfy xfiles tier stuff
Its like X-Files but without the originality or charm.
Watched 3 episodes and all they served to do was dangling the carrot of the big reveal while spending half the time on filler.
Is this ironic? I heard people bitching about homoshit on Google and I assumed it was the men so I don't know if you're joshin' me
no Ksenia Solo and CIAs wife lez out a bit.
CIA makes anything watchable.
It's a good show but not a faithful adaptation of the real J. Allen Hynek's life or case files. The real life events are even more interesting but the show is still good. I just wish they'd tried to tell the true story instead of faking it. The real story was already great.
That's a shame. I was hoping he'd suck them and rim them again youtu.be
>even more interesting
Elaborate
Based arse bandit.
perhaps he's wondering why someone would fake an alien invasion before installing the NWO
Gave up 3 episodes in. The military guy just gave no fucks to the point of being incompetent and why bring in an outside scientist anyway if you're trying to keep things quiet.
I kept feeling jerked around watching it with no payoff.
It's actually good. I didn't know what to expect, but it's worth watching.
Lol didn't they literally just make up an Secretary of Defense or something so they could...well, you know if you've seen the show. I looked the guy up and he never existed. So they take pretty extreme liberties with history at times to increase drama.
There's no briefing synopsis. The real Hynek worked on a series of government projects to study UFO reports. The first was project Sign which concluded that some reports were unexplainable and possibly intelligently driven craft of unknown origin. The Air Force officer in charge didn't want to hand in a report that said aliens might be real so he fired most of the staff and made them rewrite the reports with bogus explanations like swamp gas and the reflection of Venus that were made famous in the Men in Black movie, those are all real explanations given in the reports of Project Grudge. But then something really fucking weird happened and some of these craft appeared over a new Air Force radar installation in New York in 1952 and started flying in bizarre ways, going far faster than any of our jets could reach and accelerating straight up to over 80,000 feet in altitude in the blink of an eye. Another similar series of sightings happened that same Summer over Washington DC. None of the Air Force craft sent to intercept could keep up. These events were witnessed by generals of the Air Force. They went back to the guy in charge of Project Grudge and told him his conclusions were bullshit so they'd better reopen the cases. That was Project Bluebook. Hynek started as a skeptic but by the time he finished working all three of these government projects he was convinced something extraterrestrial was happening. Hynek wrote a book about it which is a UFO classic. And went on to do more independent research with other big name scientists who turned to UFOlogy like Jacque Valles. It's interesting stuff. Most of the cases in the show aren't actually ones that Hynek investigated. Some happened many years after Project Bluebook concluded.
In the Betty and Barney Hill episode they changed Betty into a black woman and made it look like Barney was an armed nut who was convinced he was abducted. In reality it was the opposite. Betty felt like something had happened to them and Barney didn't want to talk about it. And instead of kidnapping government agents they just went to a hypnotherapist who allegedly brought out their repressed memories of abduction. Although hypnotic regression is known to produce false memories so it's pretty suspect. Also in the Flatwoods monster case they totally changed how it looked. It was described as a 10 foot tall mechanical looking man with a spade shaped cowl around a dark face with glowing red eyes and an odd metal skirt. In the shown it's some weird black stick being.
Yeah, I thought that was who that was supposed to be but the chick was black so I ignored it. I don't remember. They didn't call them that in the show, did they?
Is that actually CIA on the left?
No that's one of the witnesses. Hynek looked more like Colonel Sanders.
Had no right being as good as it was. Finished it a couple of days ago. Someone post nudies of CIA's wife and knesia
the entire show is made up. virtually none of it is accurate, and it just pushes the same boring cliched conspiracy garbage that's been polluting people's minds for 25 years. this show spits on hynek and his work
>no homoshit between men
This is actually bad. There is literally nothing wrong with shipping CIA and Airforce.
Where did fujoshi already hear about this show?
>her
They kept the star map part in though. Changed a few things, but it was nice that was mentioned.
great show, pretty based
