Into the Badlands

Monday is here which means a new episode of Into the Badlands! Tonight's episode is "Cobra Fang, Panther Claw":

>The Widow and Baron Chau finally face off; M.K. and Pilgrim grow their forces at the Monastery; Sunny and Bajie discover a new foe, the Black Lotus.

Seems weird to describe them as a new foe since I'm pretty sure Sunny has fought Black Lotus troops before. Also, was that The Baron last week? Anyway, it starts in about 15 minutes, so get hype!

pilgrim a bitch

I'm salty that its cancelled.

Huh, those monks didn't really put up much of a fight.

this is what the show should have been from the beginning. why did it take three years to get here?

AMC mismanagement? Initially, it seemed that it was going to be Journey to the West, then Pilgrim showed up and then it looked like it would be Journey to the West mixed with Lone Wolf and Cub, but no idea now.

Also, The Master went down pretty easily.

They nerfed the master really hard for plot purposes, damn.

It took awhile to find itself.

I mean, MK did break her arm, so I guess the Power Rankings are:

Pilgrim > MK > Master > power gap > Sunny > Widow > Bajie > power gap > other people

...wait so that wasn't Quinn?

The master was always pretending to be stronger than she was. Good enough to beat initiates who would become a problem later or untrained gifted but somebody with the gift and training? Yeah, she gets her ass kicked.

It looks a lot like him. I wonder if the plan was to show him getting revived from the brink of death after the end of Season 2 to put more focus on the Black Lotus, but they scrapped it.

its going to be such an asspull when pilgrim beats the master.

Is this an advertisement? Lol

Remember when there were five other Barons?

boner achieved

>its a Tilda gets severely hurt episode

That was literally and figuratively really hot.

How did Ankara mess up Azra, I wonder?

Do we even know what Azra is really? I don't recall if they explained it at some point.

There was a magazine at some point in S2; it was a high-tech city, but beyond that...

Fucking BASED Widow

See, I was thoroughly entertained the whole episode. How many episodes left? We can't have nice things.

Two, I think.

Sorry, I mean 4.

Fuck

NO FUCK THIS NO WHY

OH FUCK

this show is so stupid but I love it

F

So...

Bajie's dead, Ankara's dead, Sunny's sister is alive (somehow?), Pilgrim has a whole army of Gifted people to go up against Widow/Gaius/Tilda and Sunny has to somehow save the world from this whole shitshow.

I do not envy his job at all.

The show that introduced me to my redhead waifu.

Baije is going to get healed by someone with the dark gift healing powers.

As far as we know, Master is the only one who can heal people and she's hours away. If Nyx knows how to heal, that'll be an asspull.

What will probably happen is that Ankara has enough life to save Bajie and maybe transfer knowledge over to him somehow before dying.
