Heard this is good, should i watch?

Yes.
Lil Ze is a badass.
it's not boring
It's my favorite movie of all time and it's consistently considered one of the best foreign language movies of all time. Absolutely watch it. I think it's on Netflix
bretty good, a little boring at a few parts, frankly I think it could've been shorter
it's the second best foreign language film of all time, actually
yes, pure kino
yeah it's good
this is garbage though
>this is garbage though
bad opinion
Would you Yea Forums?
Yeah, it's pretty good and a very accurate representation of what life in Brazil is like.
>that scene those two kids are forced to choose where they will be shot
they looked liked bitches so i couldn't feel sorry for em
Yes
They were criminals so, regardless of whether they looked like bitches or not, you shouldn't feel sorry for them.
>being this pleb
incendies had an obvious as fuck ending
Absolutely. Do it.
If I was brazilian I'll be so fucking proud of my shithole country just for this movie
What are some other good films about life in Brazil?
City of Men. Elite Squad.
>of what life in Rio is like*
Ftfy.
i'll stick with my macaco, thank you very much
Nah.
no it didn't
10/10 movie imo
Most definitely
I've been in Brazil a couple of times for vacations and I must say life there is pretty good as long you live on a wealthy city.
Subtitles help me focus on the movie more cause i have to read
Central do Brasil is viewed as the best we ever made. I like Auto da Compadecida
>tfw no apple gf
The problem with Rio and other places that have favelas is that the heads of the drug dealing gangs make rules where you cannot steal inside the favela or they kill you. So the little niglets mestizos go down the hill to the rich neighborhoods to steal, and they often carry guns and the civilians are under disarmamentist laws so they know they can't defend themselves, which makes for easy pickings and murder.
Elite Squad, only the first tho, the second goes on Hollywood's suspension of disbelief territory.
Yeah I wouldn't want to go to Rio for tje same reasons. It has the most dangerous favelas.
If you want to spend vacations on a "favelas-free city" I would recommend Camboriu.
secret in their eyes is better than both
I went to Camboriú a few times in the early 2000s. It was nice back then. No idea how it must be nowadays.
NO
That sequence in the football stadium is fucking kino
Yes, to this day it has one of the most brutal scenes i've ever watched, and it seemed real, not edgy tryhard.
youtu.be
I went these last two years and it was nice. People there is chill
>tropa 2
>suspense of disbelief
Its worse than that my man the ex governor of rio de janeiro was arrested a politician was assassinated and one of the suspects lived in the same place of the president
Just today a car with a innocent family was shot 80 times by the army
Also pic related is the governor holding a portrait made of bullet shells
The build up to "I love you" was great
Yes
Such is life in shitzil
Reminder that Brazil is one happens with a fully diverse country.
Reminder that the West will become Brazil in the next 10-15 years.
Why did Knockout Ned go to the dark side bros?
I think it maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with his girlfriend being raped, his little brother and uncle being killed and Lil Zé wanting him dead.
>watching movies with niggers
Yah.
t. brasileiro
The problem with Brazil is that 30% (!) of their population is niggers.
You have to be a brazillian to understand auto da compadecida tough, i cant even imagine what it would be like watching it subtitled
pretty sure its more than 30%.
unless we say that mutts are at least 70% of the population
I guess
yeah i think thats the biggest problem with american movies, the feel too forced, i dont know why
