Already made more profit than ant man

It's BTFOing Ant Man as we speak, sorry MCUck

Also manchildren who watch CapeShit don't want to see actual kids in their movies. It embarrasses them
>ccccapeshit isn't for kids

I AM GONNA SAY IT

Men like how infinity wars wraps up the MCU perfectly. Fags need endgame for “happy ending”.

We don't want ANOTHER white guy superhero movie. Boooooring.

It didnt flop since it was pretty low budget. But with the DC universe being pretty reviled and disney putting it between a captain marvel/endgame sandwich it is pretty easy to see how it would underpreform

It hasnt yet. Just give it time and im sure they will see ROI. I saw the movie and honestly it was pretty good. Like it wasnt the standard capeshit you'd experience from the MCU. Like it was better than Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel wasnt as bad as the internet made it out to be, but it just felt like another by the numbers Super Hero movie. And at this point in Marvel phase whatever we are in, is not good.

Shazam felt better as an original movie. It had a unique concept as well as feeling different than the average super hero movie.

Adult Shazam is jewish

He's not tho

It was the best superhero movie I've seen so far.

>projecting this hard
did you even see the threads? everyone liked the children

it was an okay movie.

N

This

It was average. It's Ant Man tier.

>Men
>Waiting for any capeshit

not woke enough
needs more diversity
and a female protagonist

Cringe

Did it? It clearly didn't cost as much as BvS or Endgame or some other big ticket film, it's still going strong and positive word of mouth will probably give it longer legs than a lot of week-one-wonders.

I quite enjoyed it, which I didn't expect I'd be saying.

Just came out of the theatre
The movie is not as bad as Marvel basedbois pretend it to be. It's average, not amazing, not trash. I would have loved it 10 years ago, but as a full grown man adult, I think it's a good teen movie for the dc verse

It’s literally #1 at the box office

It did?

Because Yea Forums is never right about anything.

It’s a great movie, a family movie, teen movie, Christmas movie even. It only doesn’t play to 20-50 childless succubi and neck beards. Who apparently are everyone.

no

WB 'needed' 40 million opening domestic according to Washington Post. It did 57.
They're also very happy with the overseas performance that were according to expectations, according to Deadline.

The sequel is happening. It didn't flop.

It didnt. Also, it was quite good. Not brooding serious movie wannabe, not marvelesque by the books quipfest of a Mary sue. It's just a fun lighthearted movie about a kid who gets super powers. Like capeshit should be.

>barely beating Ant-Man is seen as an accomplishment
Keep reaching, DCucks

Right, forgot Yea Forums considers every movie a flop nowadays, for some reason

it needs only 390 million to be as much of a success as Ant-Man (even less because Ant-Man was too reliant on China where they only get 25% of the box office). And had much lower marketing budget.

Do you think people who identify themselves as Marvel fans actually wouldn't watch this movie because it's DC?

>budget 80m
>already made 160m
I'm going to see it tonight with my lady friend.

painfully average. it's like DC's antman 2 which maybe good for some people

>men waiting for comicbook hero movies

You mean manchildren?

I've been to two screenings now and both times the theater has been nearly empty.

Zachary didnt have a gratuitious shirtless scene like Captain Americ, Thor and Antman

I just got back from seeing it. For some reason I was expecting it to be an R-rated dark comedy about a real person trying to be a superhero like in Super. Like no actual superpowers, just a crazy guy pretending. Dunno why I thought it was going to be that. So it being yet another shitty Marvel magic and quippy space wizards film really destroyed my expectations. It was slightly better than the rest of the comic book crap but that's not saying much.

holy fuck
>looks jewish as fuck
>most jewish name in existence
>levi is actually just his middle name
>has welsh ancestry
>is a devout christian
fucking CHADzam jewing the jews, absolutely basepilled

It's mediocre capeshit.
