It's good but not even in my top 20. The film absolutely peaks when he gets the costume, everything involving Lex has aged fucking terribly, the climax is interesting in theory but has no impact, it's not addressed or built up to in the narrative. The things considered GOAT about it are still GOAT though (Reeve, the score, the incorporation of modern genres to a superhero story) I admit that Superman 78 has a kind of magical aura around it but when you look at it hollistically, I just think there's a bunch of capeshit movies that are more effective.
