Be honest. When you first saw the ending to The Matrix Reloaded, you thought that the real world which Neo had escaped to in the first movie was another layer of the matrix, right?
Be honest. When you first saw the ending to The Matrix Reloaded...
*sigh*
yes i was mind blown at the prostpect
No
Totally bro I barely understood the first movie though
No.
no. blanda up multiracial sex orgies are basically the norm now. very predictive film.
was there an explanation to why he ciuld destroy those sentinels at the end? was it that he somehow became linked to the machines?
I dunno, I remember a line about how he's irrevocably linked to the matrix and the machines which is why he can disable them in real life, but how would that even work? Is he emitting wi-fi signals from his hands or something?
>Dude you aren't actually the messiah you're just a cog in the machine lmao
>EXPECTATIONS SUBVERTED
Bravo Wachowskis
There's a scene in Zion where Neo is being shown the machines that sustain their society, and in that scene he's missing his plug. Probably just an oversight, but yeah.
where he destroys the machines? i thought he was a machine himself.
Yeah which means he also really is the chosen one and there have been many but his time he says fuck it and really chooses freedom for humanity. Bravo indeed.
I had no idea what the fuck was happening for most of the movie
Ya when the guy who was really good at the video game could suddenly do magic in real life I thought the matrix within a matrix was the least retarded option
the 'Zion is another Matrix' theory is for brainlets who don't get the point of the movies.
1.) He's an actual prophet in the real world.
2.) something something magnetic fields
forreal though what was the point of going extra cerebral with the architect scene and the neo multiverse everything? Did they realize they needed a believable way for the humans to beat the machines at the end? Couldn't they have just done the "help us defeat Smith so we can all live in harmony" thing without it? I seem to remember everyone just getting super fucking confused but at the end it didnt really matter in regards to the plot
fuck dude I wish I had some chick and I could just grab her ass one more time. I'm not feeling good anymore. Also I still haven't watched reloaded, does it finish up the series well enough?
>does it finish up the series well enough
that's a personal opinion, something for you to think about it after you're done. just watch it.
Imagine seeing the last Jedi in 83 instead of return if the Jedi. That’s about how it feels
painful but ballpark accurate
The Matrix is a standalone in my head canon. same with Alien
No. Just no. How the fuck do people watch films so wrong.
it was another layer, in potentially unlimited layers see similation theory
No because I paid attention to what the Architect was fucking saying and didn't miss the entire fucking point.
I never actually saw the matrix despite it being everywhere as a teen. Does it still hold up?
it's almost as timeless as fight club but you can definitely tell it's a bit older. other than that it's a movie that was really original for its time and still holds up. I'd recommend it if you want an action movie that just isn't an action movie with shooting at bad guys. It's an action thriller movie that lets you think a bit like Collateral.
Speaking of action movies, does anyone know an action movie that all takes place in real time? Such as the movie being 1 hour long that 1 hour is all within the same time of the story? It's a bit hard for a brainlet like myself to explain but it's my favorite way of telling a story. Like Die Hard.
I watched both movies in the same night in the build up to Revolutions and my tired thoughts were basically
>Oh so he is special in the real world too? I guess the One really is something next level then
Tbqh I was thinking the whole time it was bit odd nothing seemed to transfer over to the real world, especially if you had knowledge downloaded into your brain.
His "magical ability" to control machines in real life is what killed this franchise.
How did they screw up a sci-fi movie that badly?
If they didn't want people going with that they could have included literally anything explaining how a mind linked to the Matrix might not absolutely require being jacked in
You have the pilot who has no holes in him and was born in Zion. Have him mention a theory that the holes aren't necessary to join the Matrix, and how some technology exists to project brain waves without it. Seems initially like a throw away line and then Neo proves it
