I feel like Mignola is mad people only care about his Hellboy stuff, which is stupid, because the only people I know who care about his smaller work, me included, became fans of his through Hellboy.
I don't even know why he had to drive Arcudi away (whatever the circunstances are), because it's clear Mike was mostly overseeing the HB stuff to focus on whatever he wanted to do while Arcudi clearly managed to make the book what the fans enjoyed about these characters in the first place.

to be fair, being rated R in the States isn't hard to do; shit like Gladiator, The King's Speech and Termintor are rated R in the States, and they're only M over here (PG-13 equivalent).

Mignola turned into a massive baby realizing he can literally only write one type of character and so needs to milk it for all he can. Reminder that Hellboy in Hell was supposed to be the end of end him writing Hellboy, but nah, now he's back in BPRD comics called Hellboy and the BPRD. The original run of Hellboy is good, early stuff is great even, but he became a hack.
