TIL most film stars have fake teeth

I always figured film celebrities simply had their teeth bleached and straightened but apparently almost every famous person has porcelain veneers, hiding their natural not so pretty teeth underneath.

Same thing for most news anchors, politicians and musicians. It even goes way beyond that. Doctors, CEOs, bankers, lawyers. Anyone who's rich really. Any of these pretty smiles can easily cost $100k.

1. they dont cost this much
2. you're a moron for just figuring this out, or 12.

Are you 15? You sound like a braindead zoomer.

i miss 70s and 80s movies where actors looked like real people. its so obvious in HD now watching those old movies where you can see actors with flawed teeth that werent so unnaturally white like they are today. that shit just looks weird almost like dentures or some shit

give this man a cookie.

taylor swift has obvious ones.

How much do they cost and how long do they last?

Sure. Every dentist will tell you that. What? Did you think everyone had pearly whites? Shit user, even their skin is so smooth because it’s covered in layers and layers of makeup. Just grab some really HQ pic from a red carpet and zoom in. The bumps, small zits and shit are visible.

no way, these teeth look totally natural!

My dad has veneers because he would eat candy and fall asleep without brushing his teeth. Are you telling me that every Hollywood celebrity does the same?!?

Are you jealous? because I'm not.

Smells like british in here

He doesn't have veneers. He has literal dentures.

John Oliver got his rodent like teeth fixed since he moved to HBO. in this case i think he made the right decision

~$1-1.5k- a tooth as a rough estimate, most people only get their top front teeth done.

They can last decades if you take care of them.

As a former poorfag, Ive used an FSA to pay for veneers and lasik over the course of two years. It's not all that expensive. 4k for the lasik, and 5k for the teeth.

>what are braces/invisalign

JEWWWWWWW

my grandma has those and she's not even that rich

anyone got the pic of what Ben Afflecks teeth used to look like? they were hored

Oh so only for the rich

They all become soulless as soon as they get that cartoon perfect "smile"

glad my teeth are parfecto

Mine used to be but I didnt take care of them and now I have a gap in my lower two front teeth

user you can replace the 6 most common teeth for less than 5k. Surely you could budget that over the course of a year or two.

So how do I get a hollywood smile?

as big a star as hes become im surprised he never fixed those awful bottom teeth

ITT teethlet cope

Yeah maybe, I might look into it

Op probably walks around with a shitty asshole because he thinks a bidet is too expensive.

he's right though.
99% of celebrities have fake teeth

My teeth were all tucked up. Crooked, yellow, etc.
I spend $6000 on braces and $10k on veneers. I’m sure most movie stars can easily afford the same.

I didn't go to the dentist for the longest time because there wasn't anything wrong but I make an effort to go now (the usual cleaning and what not) to keep it that way

nips do the same I think

Check your work benefits. If you can get an FSA(Flex Spending Account), you can have money taken out, pre tax, to put towards medical expenses. It's what I did for my veneers and lasik when I was making less than 40k.

damn
imagine being American

both of mine cost €75 each

lol nah I dont have benefits, I'm not from America

the star wackers made him do it

They may even be cheaper than what we're estimating. One of my friends got 12 veneers in Mexico, and another one got 8 in Spain for less than I paid.

Braces take time. Chris Rock talks about how no one told him his teeth were fucked up. Eventually, he had some money, and got them fixed. Except, they are still fucked up. He got them ground down, and veneers glued on, but he needed braces badly. Possibly even a palatial expansion. It isn't like he didn't have the time.

Anyway, his bite is still fucked up, and his speech reflects this.

baba booie's moustache always looked disgusting.

depends where you live, but generally a lot.
Teeth are complex nerves.

even if you put caps and veneers on all teeth, unless you got the best dentist in the world, you wouldnt be spending 100k. thats fucking stupid you retard, even the dawson academy which completely restores all teeth as well as gives perfect occlusions, would only be around the price of a car, like 20k if anything. and what does the teeth shit matter to you? its not like hair transplants or lypo. get fucked faggot

>Morons.
Hey buddy, these are not your average grand a tooth ones, these are mulit millionaire versions put in by doctors who charge millions, you go to a regular dentist, these people go to to the dentist of the celebs.

Just like there is plastic surgery, and plastic surgery for celebs, big difference in pay.

>I charge $1300 per tooth.
>But when money bags mcrichfuck comes in, its a cool 10g a tooth and I tell them its the finest porcelain in the land made from the finest.

teeth matter more than hair or fat you fucking idiot.

It sounds trite, but I'd much rather have human flaws than doll-like perfection. It seems fucked that people pretty much give up a piece of their humanity when they get famous

And we aren't that rich, sure his dad was rich, but not actor level rich.
(Actually we aren't cuz grandpa decides to have 10 bastards).

im saying why the fuck care about something that everyone gets done? lypo and hair transplants are for the rich, why obsess over celebs getting crowns like normal people? also fuck you you gay ass retard monkey

thinking bout doing it in thailand

1. Do you have to brush them? Floss?

2. What’s the maintenance like? Is it like Botox where you’re doomed to be JUST’d/bogged in old age?

3. Are these celebs actually paying or do their management companies subsidize them as an “investment”

Teeth are a status symbol in America.
America is very classist.
If they smell the poor they don't take you seriously.

that's a good idea.
Lots of italians come to my slavland to do it for 1/3 of the price and basically the same equipment and service.

>tfw teeth in perfect alignment, but have huge canines and mild rabbit teeth

Grandfather died with all his teeth @ 90. Uncle is a dentist. Never will be needing veneers like a teethlet.

This, a little. I've got crooked teeth and one of the front is chipped. If I had them straightened... I can't even imagine getting them 100% perfect and the chip... I'm so use to it. Been there since I was a kid. Like, Jim Carry's chipped tooth it is not. But it is a little notch on the corner. If I had super-special movie-star money, I'd somehow keep the chip. I can't even imagine my face without it.

that's everywhere. People don't like poors.
Veneers won't rot, but you should brush if you don't want to smell like a whore's pap smear or get a gum infection.

Stand aside for some true, thoroughbred Brazilian teeth genetics, plebs.

Not at all, just America.

Don't they feel unnatural though? like if you have a cavity and get a filling it feels sort of earthy instead of smoothness

I was offered one because I got a root canal done on my front tooth and the dentist said it would be discolored, ended up not getting it as it wasn't discolored that much at all.

You've a keen mind.

that's a cap not a veneer

I was watching Sister Act yesterday and noticed that the mousey nun had a dead tooth.

Newsflash: Americans are obsessed with straight white teeth. I suppose it'll turn out to be because dentists are all jews.

I thought skeletons didn't need to eat, but her teeth are full of shit.

I'm a dentist (DDS). Why are you even making that distinction? An orthodontist wouldn't be the one who did veneers. That would be done by a general dentist or a prosthodontist. An orthodontist holds the same degree anyway but has completed 2-3 year residency. Almost no orthodontists do operative/prosth procedures.

You get used to it in like a week.

a good lab can make very nicely textured veneers. Modern materials are really something amazing. Emax in my opinion looks the best.

lol, no

Why not just have your teeth pulled and replaced with implants with titanium studs and ceramic copies of your real teeth, but perfect?

it's hilarious that teeth are so important in image yet get so fucked up over the course of time. god I bet so many famous historical figures had grisly smiles.

Exercise is actually bad for your teeth and gums.
I presume restricting your diet to anorexic levels might be the same, and there is always the chance of bulimia.

Fucking Smile apps

They grind them down to little nubs, and glue the veneers to those.

Goddamn, nothing in this world is real is it??? I seriously underestimated how many celebrities have fake teeth. We live in a fake world I'll tell ya hwat. Fake teeth, fake hair, plastic surgery, colored contact lenses, make up, tattoos, lifts in shoes etc etc the list goes on forever.

Anyone here used Invisalign or anything similar?? An ortho quoted me $4k for Invisalign and said it would take 1-2 years for the full process and my teeth truly aren’t even that messed up I just have buck teeth and one crooked one on the bottom. Meanwhile smile direct quoted me ~$2k and said 6 months tops for wearing the liners then I just have to sleep with a retainer. Is there something I’m not understanding? Does smile direct not work or something? I know the orthodontist is obviously going to upcharge but twice as much? And why would it take so much longer?

yeah in the UK we make fun of yanks for their fake teeth, it's absurd

When my dentist was allowed to charge extra for polishing, my teeth always needed polishing. Then the rules changed and suddenly I never needed polishing again. Funny, that.

fuck tell me thats a troll and people arent doing that just to have fake teeth

You're overreacting, op. They do not all have veneers.

Yep.

Starter kit for an actress used to be a tit job, now it's veneers.

I asked my dentist about them, once, out of curiousity. He said he's made most of his profit from them. A lot of HELOC money went to veneers, that shit is expensive, and insurance doesn't pay for them.

You want to see hilariously awful, go find someone with budgets veneers from Costa Rica or Mexico. A woman at a place I worked got them done in Costa Rica, and they were crooked. She ran around doing the Japanese cover your mouth thing.

this.
braces and whitening are enough for many to achieve perfect or almost perfect teeth

How do people get such bad teeth in the first place?

I never had braces, drank soda, had a smoking phase, missed a few nights brushing, drink tons of tea (now), and my teeth are straight. Not bleach white but not too yellow either.

That picture of Katie Holmes.

Is she really toothless?

Implants would be the $100k range. Veneers are like $1000 for the resin ones.

The funny part with veneers is they don't last - the porcelain ones wear out after 10 years, and the cheaper ones 5 years, and since they grind your teeth down, you can't just remove them. It's a one-way thing.

He probably mixed up implants with veneers. Implants are fucking expensive. A full mouth of implants could get up in the 90-100k range, easy.

I wouldn't trust any of those mail-order aligner companies, for many reasons. You don't have a professional monitoring you for tracking issues. They don't do attachments, which some movements are scientifically impossible without (imagine trying to pluck a small hair on your chin without using the grip of your fingernail). Your treatment time will be shorter because they'll just half-ass it with movements possible through aligner tension alone while leaving out the hard parts like fixing an off-center midline, malocclusion, etc. You probably have much less sway with stuff like mid-course correction and refinement, unlike a contracted professional who signed a waiver to be medically responsible for you. If the mail-order company leaves you high and dry even though you're not adequately treated, you might not have any option but to go pay out of pocket for Invisalign to fix it anyway.

That's not to say you should necessarily put too much stock into the first orthodontist you went to, though. Some of them are old farts who've been doing braces for years, but are incredibly inexperienced with Invisalign. Align Technology outright said a few years ago that 7 day trays at .33 mm movement per tray is absolutely safe, and you can go even lower than that with the Propel perforation treatment. One guy I went to swore I wasn't even a candidate for Invisalign yet and that I had to do several months of braces first, which added a couple thousand dollars to treatment and necessitated an implant in the floor of my mouth. I went to someone more experienced with Invisalign and those first several months went absolutely fine with attachments and wearing them regularly, the trays even had bite ridges that were a non-invasive complete replacement for the implant that other quack wanted me to get.

Shop around, go with Invisalign Full to play it safe, and discuss a treatment plan instead of just jumping into it.

Colored teeth aren't necessarily "bad". Teeth come in a wide range of colors, it's hereditary, and things like diet can effect it.

I worked at a company that was family owned, and they all had grey teeth. They were perfectly healthy teeth, they were just that color.

Hollywood has created the meme that teeth have to be bleached white to be "good".

big healthy teeth

Attached: daisy.jpg (768x1024, 72K)

>Align Technology outright said a few years ago that 7 day trays at .33 mm movement per tray is absolutely safe, and you can go even lower than that with the Propel perforation treatment.
I forgot to elaborate on this train of thought but some stubborn orthodontics will stick hard to a 10–14 day tray schedule even though it's absolutely not neccessary anymore, especially for someone like me who wore my trays literally 23 hours a day. Your treatment time could easily become twice as long simply because your orthodontist is a fuddy-duddy. 2 years is excessive, unless they're being very liberal with accounting for tracking issues or patience noncompliance.

Sometimes it make ugly people look even worse.

Attached: 0103-danielle-bregoli-tmz-12.jpg (728x567, 26K)

>straight white teeth
For a second I was convinced the third word was going to be something else

The ortho will tell you that your dentist should deep clean every 2 years to make sure nothing nasty happens.
You should be doing it every 1 year desu, the cavities and ugly yellow staining you can get from braces is no joke. If youre not staying on top of that shit it can turn into a huge expensive mess

My dentist once told me that the biggest risk with tooth realignment was trying to move the teeth too quickly.
Aparently it can cause issues were the teeth move, but the tooth route doesn’t, causing permanent tooth damage.
He said the best orthodontists take they’re time, and slowly work to move the teeth.
If you were planning on using one of the systems, I would go with the one that takes longer.

I lost several of my teeth because of soda drinking and not brushing them and I'm only 26. I wish I had at least gotten them filled, implants are expensive as Hell. I'm gong to have to get dentures because I'm poor and don't have 60k+ for implants.

dentist here. Those are just the initial depth cuts. After that we plane down all the space in between. So even more tooth is cut down.

A dental school in your area. My school offered them for 2000 dollars. That was for everything: implant placement, abutment, and crown. You won't get much cheaper.

except he wasn't in high school he was like 28 the dude is in his 40s now

they dont stain and u dont get cavities as easy. also u can look stupid like u have big fake horse teeth tho.

This is what they do now. They implant studs into your jaw bone and then screw in new teeth. If you had old teeth prior, they would use an impression of your teeth as a starting point for the individual tooth molds, so everything aligns correctly in your mouth.

Dentist here. Do NOT do smile direct. As far as I know they don't even require radiographs before they start. That's insane if true. So much goes on underneath the surface. First, you may have caries (cavities) that need to be treated before you start. Second, you may have necrotic teeth, pathological resorption, impacted teeth, supernumerary teeth, etc. If you are going to fuck with your teeth, have a professional at lease see you in person. Invisalign is great.

You can get cavities with veneers?

HD means you can see all the men actors wearing make up

Porcelain stains and the MARGINS (tooth/porcelain interface) stains as well, especially if poorly fit or poorly bonded. There is no dental restoration that is easier to maintain than natural tooth. Everything else is MORE work. keep that in mind.

why must we be so vain bros? can't we be satisfied enough with god's gift of life?

Attached: 1466124114617.jpg (811x1082, 180K)

>have big fat tits
>think anyone cares about your teeth
kek

Look at the OP pic
veneers go over the front, the back of your tooth is still there and the possibility still exists

Isn’t that what an HSA is? I though FSA doesn’t roll over but a hsa does

As I said before: Everything is harder to maintain than a natural tooth. An implant is subject to failure for many reason if you're not going to brush and floss then peri-implantitis will degrade the bone. Keep in mind that you lose all sense of dental proprioception when you lose your teeth. that means you can't very accuracy sense how hard you are biting since you have no periodontal ligament. Many people develop bruxism from this and grind down their expensive restorations.

Checked

I'm going to visit a dentist soon to get a quote on how much it'll cost to whiten my teeth and bond a gap between my front two teeth. How much do you guys think that might cost?

Oh dear. He's saying he didn't have braces, but DID drink soda, smoke, etc. You super double retard.

cont'
I can't stress this enough: hold on to ALL your natural teeth if possible. I assume most of you are young: FLOSS and BRUSH please.

you're eternal soul. people who have permanent cosmetic alterations always regret it, like tattoos. also ugliness is beauty - in your case refer to madonna

Attached: tek89.png (1005x409, 835K)

Greatly depends on where you live and where you go.

Is tooth bonding permanent? I've heard that they actually have to file off part of your tooth to put the material on there. I probably won't do it if that's the case. Ladies like me anyway, but I'd still like a bit more confidence.

>Get braces at a young age
>Constantly on top of brushing and flossing, go to dentist every six months
>Get braces pulled off, finally get that perfect smile
>Head into dentist six months ago
>"Hey, you do know that you're grinding your teeth and now most of the enamel's gone, right?
Twenty years of battling my family's fucked up teeth situation and I fuck myself over by grinding too hard.

Attached: 36439075_2255390691170101_9191722873822117888_n.jpg (640x640, 48K)

A no-prep bonded composite restoration is not a permanent alteration. The average lifespan of composite it 7-10 years but can be much better. In any case it can be removed or replaced if need be and in many cases can be closed without prepping the tooth (depends on the dimensions of your tooth and the size of the gap)

I live in what I suppose is a "ritzy" part of New Jersey.

Look into dental tourism. Usually you can get treatments for half the price compared to American prices. Do your research. My uncle and aunt got their veneers in Costa Rica.

...

you could be doing it in your sleep yeah? most of my family has jaw problems and this happens.

Yeah that's why I could never tell until my dentist just says "Hey 20% of your teeth are just gone.

Thank you, doctor. Can you give me a quote real quick? Shot in the dark?

Since I am a dentist in NYC, I see plenty of cases of people trying to save a buck. Those dentists abroad have access to worse materials, labs, and are poorly trained. I fix root canal therapy filled with god knows what. Shit crowns with 2mm overhanging margins, etc. Maybe this is just knowing "too much" as a dentist, but I would only have a high-price specialist touch my teeth. Do not skimp on this one thing. There is a reason dentists all get gold when they get something.

yes they file away to make posts unless you go real pricey then they do each individual tooth itself

doesn't everyone?

Everything could be 800 bucks. Expect 600 for in office whitening. Or you can have trays made at the dentist and do it at home with a gel for less. The real question is how much of a diastema you have, and how it's going to be closed. We can't make your central incisors square by just bonding 3mm on each one and closing the gap. So best case is a small composite extension on each side to close the gap. Could do a minimal or no prep veneer. Worst case is 6 or 8 veneers

Wait so that shit just clips on over your real teeth? I always thought they got the real teeth pulled and replaced completely with fake teeth like my dad did with one tooth that chipped. How do you even eat with these on?

it's worse. they do pic related.

>I'm going to visit a dentist soon to get a quote on how much it'll cost to whiten my teeth and bond a gap between my front two teeth. How much do you guys think that might cost?

Don't bother to get the tooth whitening at the dentist it's outrageously expensive. Just buy the Opalescence gel and the tooth trays on amazon. a 6 month supply is like $50.

Bonding work on the teeth is actually ridiculously cheap. Maybe $200 if you went in the usa. (our dentists are more expensive). Bonding lasts 10 years or more and it's super easy to replace you just get more bonding.

It's the FAR superior method for front tooth cosmetic fixes. Because Porcelain Veneers involving grinding down your teeth to nubs. perfectly explained by

too bad hes still a jew rat through and through

in most cases 1.5mm depth cuts are made on the facial and incisal surfaces. An impression is taken. Then a temporary acrylic is placed. Then the lab will make the porcelain, which is bonded to the tooth permanently.
those are full coverage crown preps, not veneer preps

if you ever needed a reason to use sunscreen, this is it

Japs are just crooked, brits teeth are gangrenous.

My only filling (amalgum) fell out 10years ago and ive just been dealing with it...how fucked am I doc?

>Just buy the Opalescence gel and the tooth trays on amazon. a 6 month supply is like $50.
I'm going to look into it. Thank you.

Amalgams are built to last. If you don't have gold then I'd choose amalgam. If an amalgam restoration "fell out". It USUALLY indicates some larger underlying issue such as recurrent decay, or a cusp fracture. Less likely is a poorly placed amalgam that had no retention. So hard to tell what your situation without an exam. That being said if the dentin is exposed you would be more susceptible. Too many possibilities to explain without taking a look.

Damn, that's cheap. I'll look into it.

I've heard of people a decade ago who went to Hungary because they needed half a mouth full of dental implants and they worked OK.

I would still be cautious with that, especially with implants. If they don't ossify correctly (they screw a Ti screw into your jaw and your bone grows around it) then you have to start the process over and it's 6 months later and you're right back where you were.

Plus there are places in the US in every major or regional city which exclusively do implants. Not just one Maxillar Facial Surgeon but a whole group. I've noticed prices dropping significantly. They're now half of what they were 10 years ago when I broke a tooth due to a sub gumline vertical crack playing rugby.

Seeing the real Cage explains a lot. Absolutely based.

likely drill out additional decay. You could need a root canal if a root is exposed but I'm guessing you would have felt that by now. You'd also be able to feel a broken off cusp it would feel jagged and would drive you nuts.

I already grind my teeth, I have to wear a nightguard. I am trying to keep the teeth I have left though.

is this normal haha?

Quick question for you, doctor. I haven't been to the dentist in about 10 years. I've brushed every day twice, floss about 8 times over month, and use mouthwash almost every evening. No pain or cavities but should I get to a dentist anyway? I've usually had a plaque issue so I brush with Crest pro health .

You're correct, FSA doesn't roll over. I put it the max(5k and some change for me) one year one to get my veneers, and a year later I put in the max again to get lasik.I didn't have an option for an HSA at my work at the time.

1 diazepam before bed is cheaper than having to replace molars my dude

Very true. It's a sad day when I see cracked tooth/vertical root fracture, especially in a kid. But we have enough data now to say that implants have better survival when placed by a specialist (oral surgeon, periodontist, prosthodontist). You want someone that does this daily and not a few times a year. And there are SO many esthetic considerations. I wish i could explain them all here. Keep in mind that good esthetic results with an anterior implant depends on so much. You really need someone that is willing to coordinate with whoever is doing the restorative aspect or you will end up with janky abutments to correct angulation issues.

Yeah, you're kawaii or something like that. btw do you have a neckbeard and no other facial hair?

mandibular anterior crowding is very common

hmmmmm

Thanks dentanon
It was a cusp fracture..:(
Now I want a gold tooth

Not that user, but I literally never brushed or flossed and I would swish the soda around my mouth because of the taste. Now half my teeth are gone and the other half are cavity-ridden.

A check-up couldn't hurt to update some radiographs and really check for cavities but it's not NECESSARY, especially if you are confident about your habits. If you are healthy and go to a Doctor then they are more likely to harm you than help. Make sure you deeply trust your dentist

Gold is the "gold standard for several reasons. First it is soft, it won't wear the opposing dentition at all. Second, the marginal adaptation is flawless, leaving no gap between tooth and gold. It also does not tarnish. All dentists with posterior restorations have gold.

Why are you antagonizing our Jewish friend? Not only is he doing nothing wrong, he's being helpful and at no cost to us. Back off.

yeah, bad Gene's so cant grow a beard. I'll shave it off if I cared

It works even for old people

He's not your friend.

Okay guys it's time to go to bed. I have a full day of patients tomorrow. Recommend this profession to anyone young here. Very fun, lots of money

I had mine done by a Maxillofacial surgeon who had set up shop in a hick town that was 10 miles over from the chichi expensive suburb. I think the excision and the Ti screw placement and the false tooth that you have to wear and the final permanent was about 5k all in. I hear it's cheaper now.

The sad thing is you are so right with the 'keep natural teeth at ALL costs thing'. Case in point: I had an orthodontist who removed a tooth (premolar?) on each side to make the smile wider. The problem was that if I would have just broken off that tooth I might have not had to get the implant because it's barely visible unless I fish-hook my cheek but b/c my ortho took out those 2 molars I'm already 6 teeth down (2 pulled molars for ortho and 4 wisdom teeth), 7 with the vertical cracked tooth.

She's a legit psychopath, look at the eyes.

Never have had brackets, only complain is that they are getting a little bit yellow.

Thank you, have a good night, and will do.

Dentist user, do you have any opinions on or experience with Clear Choice centers? The good lord blessed me with oligodontia; I need about 50k worth of work and their all in one facility appeals to me

Sorry about your experiences. Being a dentist is interesting because everyone has questions and there are so many misunderstandings. Hearing non-dentists talk about dentistry is often frustrating and much like it would be to hear a man on the street give his opinions about brain surgery. This is why the most important thing to get from your dentist is TRUE information and education. Make sure you trust them deeply and sense nothing but honesty.

goodnight everyone

night nights, keep your butthole tight.

actors should lose teeth for roles if they're going to get them replaced anyways

Attached: clarke.jpg (666x777, 75K)

last question, haven't head of them. Implants are within the scope of practice of all dentists. Ask . lots of questions and find out if you are being treated by a specialist or generalist and make sure that the dentist placing implants and the dentist restoring the implants communicate on the case. Sorry about the oligodontia

thanks for taking your sunday night to help a bunch of poorfag anons

Getting his teeth done before blowing the prisoners, how thoughtful.

I had my wisdom teeth out about a year ago and they were very impacted. Sometimes it feels like there is still a cavity like pain on the bottom right side and there was some grinding and clicking. Now my jaw locks if I open it too long.

Is it the oral surgeon's fault?

oh my fucking lord

Attached: 1548827432428.jpg (490x427, 72K)

Can I get my dentist to prescribe it? He never mentioned it.

You’re right. He’s vril

>tfw small teeth

I can always breathe and drink through the big gaps in my teeth and I never need to floss.

Attached: 1513966646467.jpg (138x158, 13K)

spend some money to get that shit looked at
could probably get a lot of money back if you have a case to sue them

I'm poor. I'm also worried I waited too long, but if he fucked up my jaw I would like some compensation.

Heres a small clinic in Albania that does these. They do wonders

Attached: IMG_3400.jpg (639x736, 96K)

well time certainly isn't gonna go backwards, and you'll never know until you find out
in my experience the people at the front desk will always try to work out a deal and split up payments, it works to their benefit usually
then if something is fucked up you just need to speak with lawyers and it'll take off from there, everything covered

The guy is just a walking stereotype

Okay, I'll look into it. It's scary every time I go to the dentist now and my jaw locks up. Last time he had to push it closed for me.

thats common knowledge though, he used to have completely fucked up teeth

>On average, veneers last about 10 years

Why would anyone ever turn their teeth to fucking this? Unless you had fucking a disease or something wrong with you where you have no teeth.

JUST TAKE CARE FO YOUR FUCKING TEETH

Queen of teef, but she did get bracers between 2012-2015 to straighten them

France, it's almost free because of healtcare
I think in total for 6 years of treatment my parents paid less than 1K

>nicolas cage is a neckbeard

What’s the best way to whiten my teeth without getting veneers?

UKfag here.
Most of my teeth are okay, save for the farest molar on my right side which is basically a hole now, and my right canine which has a small hole just where the tooth comes out of the gum.
Definitely gonna' get the hole tooth pulled, but in regards to the canine, the hole doesn't go through into the tooth, but it is slowly getting deeper and wider and it fills up with plaque.
Can they fix the hole?
If so, how?
Will the colour be uniform?
I love my canines and this shit is bothering me.

Does baking soda whiten teeth or is it a meme?

I hate looking at bad teeth, but acne helps my immersion for some reason. Apparently this was real. What other movies have stuff like this?

Attached: lb1_1.jpg (825x497, 104K)

Mines were on for 4 years, when I became a teen and my wisdom teeth began growing he said "we're done you'll be alright now", two months later the wisdom teeth have made their devastating work and my front teeth are mostly fucked up

Sort of works, but it's rough on the teeth. Try coconut oil, swish around the teeth every so often

white strips
it lightens them, but if you're teeth are already stained it wont turn them white

I have a tooth so crooked it's like 3/4 backwards, if I had veneers it would be like half an inch thick, and braces would take AT MINIMUM 6 years to fix it. I've just learned to accept it at this point...

u just a bitch

Are you stupid? Veneers are just less permanent caps and cheaper. They crack and fissure all the time and have to replaced a lot. I hate mine.

Money.

No he's just descended from the low-caste Briton slave-race.

Been waiting for stem cell teeth ever since hearing about them. Fucking FDA letting all the rats and bunnies get first dibs on all the cool shit.

Eating raw meat is what helped us to evolve into what we are now. Without that there would be no technology.

>our brains didn't make it possible to outsmart and trap the meat first

>tfw both my 1st molars broke because when I was a depressed neet I didn't brush my teeth for a year or two
>tfw got an infection so bad my face puffed up like the guy from big trouble in little china
>tfw had to get a root canal with no anaesthetic because of the infection

i've had a veneer on one tooth for 20 years

How the fuck did that scar under his eye completely dissapear.

It was very nice of the dentist to do her makeup too.

My teeth are full of hole technology.

Eating cooked meat allowed jaw musculature to be reduced which gave us our big brains.

The incisors and bicuspids get all the brunt so I've had those replaced a couple times whereas the rest is mostly fine.

makeup

we've got Bobby firm

make up and desu that scar doesnt look too bad
theres like a 15+ year difference in the two images? its probably gone by now

In-office whitening, like Philips Zoom along with take-home 2 week trays. If you have a very honest dentist who also gives patient credit, the cost could be as low as $250 like it was for me, but odds are it might be a little more. It sucked being stuck in a chair for an hour giving a blowjob to a bright light machine and consciously having to swallow my saliva every 15 seconds so it didn't fuck with the bleaching gel, but the results were worth it. Over-the-counter at-home remedies simply can't whiten that deep. It's been a year and a half and while taking proper care of my teeth, I'd say they're still 90% as white as when I walked out of the office.

watched The Fury (1978) recently. At one point the girl screams, opening her mouth wide and you can see almost all of her teeth have fillings. Thought that was interesting.

Attached: the_furries.jpg (1920x1080, 247K)

Thanks to this thread for scaring the crap out of me. I take good care of my teeth already but holy fuck I'm never doing any of this crap unless I absolutely have to due to illness.

I've always marveled at his teeth

I've noticed a lot of English actors have fucked up teeth. And actually, non-American actors more generally often have wonky teeth. Seems like it's very much an American thing to go for the perfect, straight white teeth look.

Attached: hardy.jpg (1365x2048, 233K)

Remember to brush after every meal. And floss at least once a day. Preferably before you go to sleep, so food particles don't sit in your mouth overnight. If you work long shifts, take an extra brush and paste with you, so you can brush at work.

Seriously, brushing only once a day is NOT enough. Your teeth will rot by the time you're 25. Don't sleep with a filthy mouth.

omg dentists come here wtf

Bong here, never known dentists to prescribe medications, would be best to go to your doctor I got a pack of 60 for nothing lmao

It very much is an american thing. Its pretty customary for a normal teenager to have braces in middle/high school.
I really wonder what started the whole thing, you'd think parents telling their kids "you cant get a good job or a good girl without great teeth! its the most impressionable part" was a meme but it's real as fuck

You know dentistry is a fucked up "profession", when multiple dentists are browsing Yea Forums. And at these hours too. It's monday fucking morning. What are you doing with your life?

my technology is full of teeth

Living the Dream, huh?

Is there supposed to be acne in the pic?
My skin is way worse, and according to my doc it's mostly 'in my mind'.

Genetics has a lot to do with it too.

They're the car mechanics of the medical world.

Dentists are the scummy salesmen of the medical industry, always trying to upsell you on shit rather than just trying to make you better.

they can very, very easily fix your canine hole. they just use tooth coloured filling. you'll forget all about within weeks of it being done, that's how realistic it is.

Arghhhhhhh!

Is it permanent?

go back faggot

I start in 1h

whats the problem here

dont listen to this autist, do NOT brush your teeth after every meal, you're wearing your teeth down

you should be brushing maximum twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, floss and mouthwash that shit in between
