started watching this three times and never finished it. i get about 30 or 40 episodes in. idk what makes me stop watching. at some point it just starts to get tedious and i lose interest in the plot progression.

I agree with you in part. Monster is one of those animated shows that doesn't take too much advantage of the medium, the acting of the characters could convey more emotion and shrink the script a lot more by showing more than telling in a live action adaptation; basically my gripe with monster is that it has too much dialog that could be conveyed with visuals but the animated show doesn't take advantage of the fact it's animated to just show rather than tell.
