I'll second this. I haven't seen 3 since it came out on DVD but I just noticed it's on prime video so I'm going to rewatch it. 2 is so fucking good.
I like that the fact he is black wasn't really a big deal. He's just a dude killing vampires. It's a straightforward action movie with no hidden messages or social commentary. I'm usually hyper autistic about gunplay but this movie gets a pass because it's just fucking cool.

While we're at it, why did Spawn never get another movie? I once saw an interview where Michael Jai white said there were a lot of cut scenes from the version he acted in and those scenes fleshed out the character more as a whole. Ultimately they threw in a ton of special effects, changed the script to add the scene of Spawn fighting in hell etc and it flopped.
