Do people actually consider this show the pinnacle of comedy?
Do people actually consider this show the pinnacle of comedy?
zoom zoom zoom zoom
i want you in my room
Maybe you're retarded if you don't get it
NO SOUP FOR YOU, OP!!! XD
They insulted him so he didn't serve them soup what's not to get? It's not high level humour or even well thought out.
NO
Soup nazi did nothing wrong.
SOUP
No, but it's still funny.
>le use your manners XD
Ok what's "high level humour"?
You sound like one of those fags who analyzes comedy because you've never come up with a decent joke.
Pinnacle? I don't know. It's funny as fuck though.
Is it spring break? Is that why there are so many Zoomer posters and threads?
>we can't get a reservation
>we lost our car at the carpark
>xddd jerk store
>hurr durr whats the deal with airline food
cringe humour and cringe show
Based and souppilled
SEINFEL'D
I suggest you hit, sir
Best sitcom of all time op.
I used to analyze humor but then i laughed at a dog farting so now i don't worry about it too much
Only zoomers like Seinfeld these days, user. The original Gen X audience got tired of the postmodern irony of the show many years ago. Unfortunately, zoomers were raised in such a perspective, and love Seinfeld because of it.
I'm guessing that you're shitposting, but in the off-chance that you're not, what comedy would you recommend? I'm not here to judge you. I want good recommendations.
Imagine projecting so hard you say the opposite of reality
I'm not sure why you think listing ideas from the show makes them unfunny.
Nothing no comedy has ever been funny comedy isn't funny.
You have it backwards faggot
This, post based comedy stuff.
for me it's fry and laurie
Shouldn't have left his recipes lying around
It gets funnier the older you get kiddo
The only logical journey I can see for zoomers is a long walk off a short pier.
You don't have to, user.
Zoomers aren't postmodernist and obsessed with irony? That's a very hot take, user.
what post modern irony? be specific
Yes for some reason even thought curb is better, and there are even better sitcoms like news radio
I was, it's why I said postmodern irony instead of modern irony.
The pinnacle of Sitcom comedy for sure. If you disagree post an example of a better show
FOR
I think you're just saying words to try and sound smart.
I won’t fall for your larps this time, pal!
Unironically fucking this. Saying Seineld is the best sitcom ever is an absolute NPC opinion. The show doesn't even peak until like season 6 when Larry and Jerry aren't even writing for it anymore
Malcolm was (far)better
Enter the real pinnacle of modern TV
BIG
Take it easy Millennial
Ok kidd
It's just an inferior Curb. As a sitcom even Friends was better with it's more charismatic cast, better chemistry, more memorable jokes in general, no awful Jerry Seinfeld smirk acting etc. Chandler Bing and Ross Gellar were funnier comedic performers than Kramer and George too desu
I know it doesn't beat your tiktok vids and Fortnite streamers, but it's pretty fucking funny.
>yikes, i cringed when they kept saying nazi, that is definitely problematic
>wojak with wide extended closed mouth.png
Zoomers are a watered down version of Gen X. Nothing they have done is original or funny.
No, it was a good show, but it’s significance in pop culture comes from a couple things IMO.
Seinfeld along with friends were the last two shows to be the number 1 shows on TV when the weekday prime time block of network television from 8-10 PM was what everyone watched.
No show can be that far reaching anymore. Shows then had less competition and needed to appeal to a wide range of demographics, so to be as original and good as it was, and to be this sort of intellectual absurdist comedy that was really about the show’s writing, and to still become the number 1 show on TV, makes it a unique piece of pop culture.
But it was still a 90’s Network sitcom. So it’s hindered by that relative to today. In terms of quality the all time best network sitcom is 30 Rock.
>Friends>Seinfeld
>30 Rock.
Give me one good reason you are genuine and not trying to get me to kill myself in disgust once i check it out
Yeah yeah zoomer I know. It's been hammered into culture the last decade or so that Seinfeld is the best sitcom ever. Go over to the nigger Twitter subreddit and ask them their favorite sitcom. They'll all tell you Seinfeld because it's the most generic brainlet response possible atm
this
suck my fucking cock Yea Forums seinfeld blows
I'm gen x and I can tell you even back then it was only normies and women that watched Friends. It had way more mainstream appeal than Seinfeld.
I love MITM but no. It absolutely never achieved the level of success and fame Seinfeld did because it wasn't as funny.
I was going to talk about how it’s actually funny, how it isn’t SJW trash (it’s almost conservative by today’s standards), how it’s not preachy. But I think pic related is enough.
>it wasn't as funny.
I strongly disagree. What now?
No they're not. X'ers were cynical and apathetic; zoomers are post-ironic and have "bleeding hearts". They are polar opposites.
This is true. If you watched Friends you probably watched 90210 and Saved by the Bell, and you watch the X-Files but you didn’t really get it.
Pic related is best sitcom to ever exist.
>As a sitcom even Friends was better
female detected
watch It's Always Sunny instead
and even though Alec Baldwin is a massive faggot in real like, Jack Donaghy is the fucking man.
Brainlet detected.
Exactly. Seinfeld is for cynical people not bleeding heart zoomers. You're proving my point.
>You need to wear a bra.
>No I dont.
>You need to wear a bra.
>No I don't. They stand up by themselves.
I really love Seinfeld, but pic related is the pinnacle of comedy.
I am frank irl
Most people agree with me clearly as Seinfeld is the most successful sitcom of all time.
Cynicism =! irony. I said post-ironic, which is an ironic appreciation for irony. This is why zoomers like it. X'ers got tired of it, because they became cynical to how ironic the show is.
How dare you? Jake would agree with me over you.
Decent weebshit imo. Only ever watch the 2nd episode though.
They were all on youtube for free the last time I checked. Funny stuff, man.
It's very good, and incredibly easy to get into.
>this isn't a zoomer
I don't know what zoomers like but I can tell you as gen x it is my favorite sitcom with always sunny second.
You're forgetting that for gen x this was one of the last sitcoms before 9/11 happened. It's a time capsule of new york during that time before everything went to shit.
Stop insisting on attaching your shit taste to shit groups. Go look at zoomers reacting to Seinfeld.
Zoomers cannot even comprehend watching characters that aren't good, because they think a protagonist has to be relatable. It fucking tilts their brains.
Yeah? Well I had sex with your wife!
>"Stop insisting on attaching your shit taste to shit groups"
>proceeds to use this very notion as a basis of an argument
Have you potentially considered that to find something like a sitcom funny, you have to not take yourself or it too seriously?
This. Getting yourself into situations like this and then complaining about it isn't funny, it's stupid and irritating.
This. This is what intelligent people actually enjoy. Followed by Will & Grace.
trying too hard kiddo
>season 6 when Larry and Jerry aren't even writing for it anymore
Wow you sure know your seinfield! Tell me more Mr
>Friends was better
>gay or female
Friends was distilled faggotry
seinfeld is based. literally the best sitcom unironically
>literally the best sitcom unironically
You spelled Married with Children wrong.
ironically based
why is that thumbnail stressing me out?
>Suri, do I look alright?
>That's exactly how you look.
I'm 29 and I think it's dreadfully unfunny.
Seinfeld is better than Curb
Serenity now doesn't work.
Well what does?
I dunno...hoochy mama.
HOOOOCHY MAMAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
*I'm parking the carrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Elaine should have been a nudist
>Suri
it's Cerie
ive only watched a couple episodes, but i enjoyed the one where elaines boss wants jfks golf clubs
The soup nazi was based on a real NYC chef who gave Seinfeld a hard time irl. When interviewed he made clear he personally despised JS.
Naked 90s Julia would be so kino
name a better sitcom. i dare you
wop version of seinfeld!
>Carpark
Back to the Ministry of Silly Walks xD for you
So? If it's based off real life it's supposed to be funny?
BAZINGA!
>postmodern irony
>Seinfeld
76 millions watched the last episode of Seinfeld and I don't think any of them new what "postmodern irony" is.
im not fond of jews but the show is pretty funny
Based
Zoomers will never understand this game
It is the pinnacle of sitcoms but not the the pinnacle of comedy
unironically top 5 for sure. so based.
I wouldn't say pinnacle but I do enjoy watching it
I hope this doesn't upset you
It is if you're not an autistic shut-in and know people like that in real life.
are the fortnite servers down or something?
>I don't like thing!
high level content here, folks
Everybody Loves Raymond is surprisingly funny and comfy as fuck
Kek. Now that’s comedy
If Elaine walked around stark naked, the show would be comedy gold
same, it's the boomer big bang theory
