Southpark started going downhill in Season 12, there were still great episodes like Margaritaville, Pinewood Derby, The Last of the Meheecans and A Scause for Applause but it's been pretty bad for awhile. I stopped watching entirely after season 19. Maybe it's better now though, I don't know.
