Stringer Bell

Worst popular character of all time?

Attached: 1.8stringer.png (700x519, 710K)

I thought he was some sort of criminal Mastermind until he got played by the Jews. What did they mean by that? Were they trying to make him look like a dumb thug or were they trying to sell the idea that the real criminals are corrupt white collar men?

He was a man without a country. Not hard enough for this right here and maybe, just maybe, not smart enough for them out there.

It's hilarious how retarded blacks think that stringer was actually smart

Inelastic supply and elastic demand curves, my nigga

The wire is terrible

I knew he was supposed to be that "smarter than most, but not the smartest" guy but I was expecting him to do something on the guys who ripped him off, instead he just REEEE'd.

I watched that episode last night! Pure kino

The Wire is good on first time, but much better on rewatch not as good as The Sopranos, although

Stringer was played by black man Clay Davis. The Jewish Lawyer Levry chided him for not asking his help in his businesses, and he later helped Marlo staying out of jail and introduced him to rich Baltimore guys

I want to not like The Wire too. Can you explain why you think this? If it's just that Cum Town episode I'll kill you myself

Even a genius would lose if he was dealt a shitty hand

>negroes did nothing wrong
>muh corrupt society

it was clear that String was never a genius, dudes a guy that thinks he smart when he is not.

god can you insecure whites not post for a single day, thanks

>Stringer elarning about inelastic supply and elastic demand curves
>microeconomics 101
>class sign says it's Macroeconomics
The fuck is this shit!?

oh so just racism then

For me its Marlo, the best character in The Wire (also the greatest television show of all time).

just no >>>>

forgettable character, and forgettable season

Racist piece of shit.

>he thinks you can be racist against the oppressors

brainwashed retard go to bed

I hate Marlo

It's just vaporware. It runs on this liberal guilt fascination with ghetto culture. It tries to romanticize something that's detestable but without the wit or angst of the sopranos, or without the slow burn pulp explotation of a breaking bad.

Not to mention season two through four are different loosely connected stories. It's a fucking anthology csi with edgier writing and prespective from the badguys.

Omar sort of works as a western archtype because it's so over the top. But it's just not memorable in terms of story.

The ending and sloppy way they deal with mcnutty is hilariously bad.

It's peak Reddit. The ghetto big lewbowski of TV dramas. Lots of quotable trash.

>compares the wire with breaking bad
lmao

>compares the wire with sopranos
>"B-but season two through four are different loosely connected stories"
oh, did you know that each episode of sopranos is a different story with no connection to each other at all?

>It tries to romanticize
Already wrong. It shows how absolutely shit nigger drug culture is in pretty much every episode
I bet you think Scarface glorifies the drug trade as well
>Not to mention season two through four are different loosely connected stories
So?

Wire fag btfo.

Sopranos are stand alone films that are loosely connected with story and heavily connected with symbolism and editing.

The wire is just realism with no art or kino. Ugly trash and people somehow think it's authentic because of it. The main players are barely recognizable and so much development happens off screen it's not worth keeping up with.

>The main players are barely recognizable

>Stringer bell some cool Mastermind
>Niggers that murder are seen as virtuous

Just look at the lesbian nigger in season 6.
She litterally has no charachter. She's just there to be thing cool so onions boys will get a hard dick over muh niggers.

It says more about corruption that even tries to comment on drug culture. The cops are the bad guys. Corruption is the only theme that ties the shitty show together and it's so ham fisted and dull you can fall asleep

Attached: sil_bigger_400x400.jpg (400x400, 17K)

>wire
>season 6

The wire summed up:
>Everyone is corrupt and gets worse.
>Mcbutty is an antibiotic hero for some tension.
>Niggers nig.

That's it.
No subtly. Complete flat line story telling where you don't even get development just promotions.

Whatever it should have only been two seasons

Sopranos markets itself as this show about big baddies when in fact it's a soap opera for women.
There is no bigger picture. It's just muh feeling, muh depression, muh retarded family.

>>Stringer bell some cool Mastermind
You mean the guy who failed in turning the drug trade into a business, failed in legitimate business, and got killed by vigilante niggers when his partner backstabbed him at the same time as he backstabbed him himself? Yeah man what a great mastermind
>Niggers that murder are seen as virtuous
The only one who is presented as having a code is Omar and nowhere does the show pretend he is morally right for killing drug dealers.
That Stringer you like so much specifically says murders should be avoided and even the street-hardened kids think Marlo is fucking insane
>Just look at the lesbian nigger
She's been there since season 1 and later got a tiny bit more character by showing her home life. You might as well complain about Rawls having a character instead of just being there in the background
>It says more about corruption that even tries to comment on drug culture
It shows both as systemic problems. What do you want the show to do, specifically have God come in and say DRUGS ARE BAD? No one comes out and says corruption is bad but somehow you managed to pick up on that. Showing drug dealers murdering each other in all-out wars and ripping off junkies is not a positive portrayal
It's like you think every character who has more than 5 minutes of screentime is a hero we should rally behind. Tell me honestly what you thought Scarface was about, since you dodged that question the first time

It showed that book smarts and street smarts are on different levels. He had all the street smarts (the cops were constantly outsmarted by the gangs and most season finales had the bad guys get away) but his book smarts were average. Compared to the guys who jewed him that had book smarts. It's even showed in the high school, where the students refuse to acclimate to a "non street" mentality, or even at the fancy dinner the troubled kids go to. So your second point is closer to the truth.

>symbolism is immediately good

The wire is just as close to authenticity as the sopranos given its history you bellend. All you’re coming out with, as usual in this shithole, is, “I don’t like thing”.

>no connection to each other at all
It does had some odd episodes here and there like Pine Barrens but if you think the episodes together dont tell a good story then you definitely need to rewatch.

muh gabagool

Where exactly is the subtlety in the sopranos? Everyone’s pretty much a cast iron dick from the get go and any smidgen of relatability goes out the window the next 4 times they do something shitty.

This. Stringer tried to apply his college knowledge to the drug trade, like when he wanted Bodie, Poot and the rest to stop fighting for territory because it's the product that sells, which doesn't work for the drug trade because, as Poot puts it, "do the chair know we gonna look like some punk ass bitches?" He sells all his stock in mobile phones because if Poot has two phones, that must mean the market is saturated, while in reality the mobile phone industry kept on growing.

It was Devry University

there was this black guy who thinks hes woke for giving basic economic lessons to his retard gang

I mean think of the story of OJ by jay-z, he probably thinks hes smart and the blacks who follow him about how woke he is for saying he should invest and grow his money or some shit

>the story of OJ by jay-z
Fuck off with this nigger taste

Bump

you can do that with any great show or movie. Those aren't actual criticisms.

>without the slow burn pulp explotation of a breaking bad.
I like BB but even comparing it with Sopranos or The Wire is a joke. Hell, even its own spin-off is miles ahead in quality (dialogue, acting, direction) in comparison.

>Season 6
Also, who the fuck gets a hard on over Snoop? Bitch is barely intelligible and has the body of a six year old boy. Should've chosen Kima or Lesters girl for your pleb opinions.

man you seriously misinterpreted The Wire if these are your actual opinions.
Stringer Bell was not shown as a "cool mastermind", he got fucking outplayed and got blown the fuck out by both the business politician niggas and street niggas simultaneously.
The Wire also doesn't romanticize anything about the drug trade and ghetto culture. The characters themselves can sometimes attempt to romanticize it, but just as often they realize how it's all shit.

Although what?

No, that would be redditfag Jessie Pinkman.

Good effort, but unfortunately there's no use in pointing out the absurdity of these /pol/tards.

He was smart, but also naive. He thought "being a legitimate businessman" is about knowledge when in reality it's about fucking people over so he got played

2>4>1>3>

>cum town
You should kys instead

We all agree
Slim>Omar>Avon>Cutty>Michael>Poot>Wee Bey

The Wire is a subtle redpill

even the Jewish creator said he had to put in the scheming kike lawyer as a character otherwise it would be a dishonest representation

> Gangster takes community college classes.
lol that is so fucking dumb

Are we all in agreement that the best character is Cool Lester Smooth?

Also season 2 is the best season.

why

yikes.

>He sells all his stock in mobile phones because if Poot has two phones, that must mean the market is saturated, while in reality the mobile phone industry kept on growing.

this was hilarious

>were they trying to sell the idea that the real criminals are corrupt white collar men?
Yes, that's essentially what the show is about, fucktard

>I want to not like
quintessential Yea Forums

Stringer knew the game wasn't about ghetto street corners no more, it was about product

And how would that have worked when Marlo came along, hm? Good luck selling your New York shit when his entire goal is to take over your corners
Stringer was no war time consigliere
