Was it Snyder who could only see surface level with 300? Frank Miller didn't seem to think so, as he personally gave Snyder the OK to direct Dark Knight Returns if the opportunity arose.

This is or was supposed to be the sequel to Dawn Of The Dead 04. It was announced 14-15 years ago ( same title ) but it probably fell apart do to Snyder making 300, Watchmen etc. I've been waiting to see this since it was announced, but I cant't lie that I'm scared, because I haven't been the biggest fan of some of his recent work.
