True Detective Season 1 > The Wire Season 2 > Mad Men Season 7 > LOST Season 5 > everything else.

I firmly and utterly agree with this stance.

I used to think my life was split two ways: before the Wire season 4, and after the Wire season 4. But then True Detective season 1 came about.

The Wire Season 4 is unironically the worst season, the kid actors were mediocre.

Solid contenders, except I'd give Sopranos season 6 the best of that series.

TD season 1 is the greatest single season of all time for me. Sopranos as a whole is the greatest show though.

I've watched the Wire four times, and my favorite season always changes. The fourth hasn't been my favorite in all seasons, but if it isn't, it's number two.

Marlo's shit trumps everything about the Barksdale case.

Season 1 was too clunky and finding its ground to be the best. Season 2 has a case. Season 3 has a lot of forced dialogue and themes that feel out of place with the series as a whole. Season 5 is great, but with its massive flaws, nobody would ever nominate that shit as the best season of the series.

Season 4 is the most consistent. The child acting wasn't that bad. Michael was a little faggot tho

I've only seen it once but my favorite season is 2 desu. Maybe because I can relate to it more, I come from a working class family and the Sobotkas seem very familiar to me
