Here OP, I'll make this easy for you. Most things suggested in this thread won't be terrible, but a lot of it will be in small bits or totally filler. This is here is a pretty generous list of Troma movies I think anybody should watch if they want to get into Troma, put into nice, neat categories:

-Sgt Kabukiman (don't expect it to be good, because they actually wanted to make a legit film with this one and fell on their face)
-Tromeo and Juliet (sleazy af)
-Terror Firmer (check your brain at the door for this, very "Troma" sense of humor)

Fear Town USA is one of my favorite movies. Very funny.

I haven't seen much of the Make Your Own Damn Movie stuff, only clips, but it can be really interesting.
Especially the ones with people like Gunn and Parker/Stone, since they went from Troma to Hollywood. The Team America interview is so fascinating, you see Parker and Stone utterly defeated by this project.
