I think in reality the larger reason that they're together is that they both find doing their podcast fulfilling on a creative level. It's not an issue of golddigging, she actually directs benefits from Bobby's talents and appreciates them not for the flow on effects of being able to earn money, but simply inherently that he's funny and being able to be a part of it. That's not the same as loving him for him, but it's significantly better than being with him for his money, or even for his fame. She's with him because she gets to be a part of his life/work.

I love the show, but I'm beginning to sour on it. Because every episodes veers into Bobby talking about how Khalyla saved his life, and how much he loves her, and all that schmaltzy stuff.
