I remember seein this movie when it just came out on DVD in 2009. Had a big laugh and enjoyed how fucked it all got in the end. It made Brad Pitt and George Clooney likable for me. I love when Clooney's character blows Pitt's character's head off and then he stumbles down the stairs, got a huge belly laugh.

This is a very well paced and acted movie. Laughed a bunch and I really like it. However, I've noticed that a lot of coen brothers films, while fun to watch and are eminently quotable, are usually about nothing. I don't mean in the Seinfeld show-about-nothing sense, but that deeper nihilistic worldview. Absurdity and meaninglessness is glamorized, and I just can't cotton to that.
