And that's a good thing!

Why?

Can't be racist if there are no races.

just watch the action scenes on youtube. i want that dude's ghetto AK with explosive rounds.

Heavy european stereotyping and all the poor people/criminals were speaking mexican spanish.

So matt damon played a wealth person? Also Europeans do have more wealth and would be able to get off the planet while people living in third world countries would find it more difficult. Do you disagree with this logic?

Yeah, it's a pretty great horror movie though. Rarely get to see such satisfying Bad Endings.

It's funny that 99% of the poor people in this movie are nonwhite and yet the main character is a poor person and white. That's racism right there. Why not cast a mexican as a mexican? And why are all the wealthy people white while speaking french? There are wealthy jews, arabs, asians and even blacks, yet we see almost none of them on elysium.

Yeah hollywood is shit and they weren't into diversity back then

>Makes a movie that details how racist the elites are
>gets called a racist by knuckle draggers
Didn't see that coming...

It's actually spot on for a futuristic America, though maybe without the whole Elysium thing. Matt Damon's character is a freak of nature though considering his skin tone.

Maybe for Hanukkah.

fuckwit.

No one wants to see an ugly minority as a lead in movies but.

People are starting to like kind of white people like Oscar Issac and the Aquaman guy

White surfaces but they aren't your average skinny fat celtic /pol/ users with cuck faces

> earth is overpopulated and polluted
> post movie climax, send medibots to earth
> now due to lower death rates because of medibots, earth now even more populated.
T.hanks Damon

>The Trump presidency in 2154

Correct
>Box office chart-topper Elysium may be set in 2154, but according to its director it's about the here and now. "The movie's meant to be an allegory," says Neill Blomkamp. His film's message: the material inequality that pervades our world today is "an outrage".

>the world is overrun with a crime prone brown underclass and random black warlords
sounds about right, the people on Elysium did nothing wrong

I thought the guy from Aquaman was white for ages until someone on here said he wasn't.

it's worse than that. When elysium is overrun the infrastructure is stretched far past breaking point inevitably causing collapse.
The browns are the real villains of the story because if they can't have nice things, nobody can.

YA BOIKI

>tfw no irl Elysium

>they weren't into diversity back then

the fact you think this proves it works
now forget about it

they arent white you fucking dago

>Whites got fed up and left for orbit
>It's a fucking paradise up there
>Meanwhile non-whites took over the planet
>It's global Detroit with drugs, crime, death, poverty etc
hmmmmmmmm

>This movie was unironically realistic as fuck.

I find a pajeet creating AI in Chappie to be less realistic than Elysium's setting.
