>Netflix doesn't make good sho-
Whoops! I don't think so, sweetie.
>Netflix doesn't make good sho-
Whoops! I don't think so, sweetie.
literally the only one
Oh a sweetie thread, how quaint.
>what is mindhunter
netflix didn't make it, they just distribute it, that's why it's so kino
>>Netflix doesn't make good sho-
>W
You did it to yourself
mindhunter is ok entertainment, it's not actually good. maniac is only good because fukumememan is director
how Lynchpilled is it?
who made it? seems like sour grapes
>goyflix
Interesting how the dont turn a profit and their assets are managed by a shadow bank you've never heard of.
>implying lynch compares to cary "kino" fukunigga
literally me
The ending is nice and heart-warming.
This show made me cry for 6 hrs after realizing I’ll only bond with another human like that after under going a wacky adventure in a dystopian future.
Snorri did nothing wrong
The fuck you talking about? Russian Doll was pure kino, m8.
God I wish that was me
Netflix paid for it to made. They funded the whole thing. Without Netflix it may never have been made at all.
When she said she's glad her sister was moving away so they'll have an excuse to grow apart and not feel guilty about not talking to each other ever again... That hit home really hard.
not one producer works for netflix
Post your example when you're ready, OP.
don't you have a capeshit thread to shitpost in pleb? It's obvious you got filtered.
Producer? The fuck are you taking about?
Netflix is a streaming service, which is exactly like a studio in Hollywood. They don't have producers. They have a bunch of people who decide what scripts and screenplays they want to make into actual shows or movies, then provide the finance fro said shows/movies.
comforble
then what the fuck do these idiots do then user? do you know what distribution means?
Fuck Netflix and fuck shills.
>They don't have producers. They have a bunch of people who decide what scripts and screenplays they want to make into actual shows or movies
that is what producers do
I haven't seen any capeshit for about 6 years. I'm way behind. Haven't even seen the big Avengers movie.
To say that I'm a big lynch fan would be a ginormous understatement. You see, I'm a ginormous lynch fan to the core and I want everyone to know it. His new tv show has had me hypnotized for weeks!
But in all honesty my most favorite movie of all time is hot fuzz. It's fucking hilarious and has in my opinion some of the greatest camera work in the business. I'd put it up their in the top three movies ever made of all time.
Even my priest agrees. New orthodox bro here btw. Currently non practicing but it's so great to get back into the faith after years of being a degenerate agnostoshit. Now if only I could get my cathlocuck parents to stop being pagans!
That reminds me, am I the only one disappointed that stannis Baratheon is actually gone? Oh who am I kidding! Of course not! Sometimes I forget I'm so completely surrounded by intellectuals of mine own caliber This isn't Reddit after all!
And um, I'd have to say my least favorite movie is a Clockwork Orange. It's far to edgy for me
Distribution means exactly what it means: You take something and spread it to other places, either via sharing said thing willingly or selling it. That's it, that's all distribution is.
Producer is such a broad term nowadays it's barely even worth elaborating on. It's almost meaningless.
>They don't have producers.
>They have a bunch of people who decide what scripts and screenplays they want to make into actual shows or movies, then provide the finance fro said shows/movies.
based and ginormous understatement pilled
>Studio =/= Producer
Yup, you're retarded.
I bet you all cant wait to you get to live in your little goy box like this when the NWO hits in 2030.
Just finished watching it last night, thought it was great. Best Emma being in it doesn't hurt
tfw the future isn't now
>Best Emma
No.
>No.
Incorrect.
Is this babby's first LSD core? I watched the first episode and did not see why it is so loved. Maybe it's because I have an actual history with mania but it came off as artificial as the fake cocaine scenes in movies where people talk a million miles an hour.
none of it is about mania
none of it is about LSD
I saw this movie and I just got confused at first I thought I was watching the matrix, but then it became bladerunner, but then I realized it was the ddude from brazil, and then i was ultra confused until I realized that this movie is the plot of the matrix in the world fo bladerunner with the dudee from brazil but it ended on a cliffhanger. NEw netlifx movies are wierd
i thought it was pretty solid. definitely one of the best things Netflix has available.
No I get that. I assume it's going with a he's not actually crazy angle. I just don't see the appeal. Please sell it to me because I want to like it. It just felt like a shittier Brazil to me.
He's schizophrenic, not bipolar. The girl is borderline
Also just watch it it's entertaining as fuck
He is crazy
They’re not important to anything outside the lab
They’re not special at all
-s
>Also just watch it it's entertaining as fuck
Even if I didn't like the first episode at all? It felt like a very insincere amalgamation of mublecore and 90s indie films.
>None of it is about mania
Actually it is. One of the main characters in the series is confirmed to have schizophrenia. It's brought up quite a lot in the last episode.
The rest is nothing like the pilot, it turns into a black comedy
Then nevermind. It turns into like dream sequences that are lots of fun, but the general tone of the show doesn't change so you probably shouldnt bother
>tfw watched the second episode first by accident
>tfw realized my mistake and then looked at the first episode and knew it was another main character intro episode and I had an hour of looking at Jonah Hill's fat face to look forward to
>Jonah Hill
I'll pass thanks.
>fat face
>filmed when he was at his slimmest
Thanks for the info anons. I'll give it one more shot and if i dont like it ill drop it.
Maniac and Russian Doll are leagues above any other Netflix original. A few of the Netflix Black Mirror episodes have been good too but it's very patchy.
I only watch shows with serious actors in it anyway.
Sneed
Once fat always fat. Fat isn't something that ever goes away. You can still see it.
What's Russian Doll about?
Annie's story absolutely carried Owen's. Better character, better actor. Plus Kimmy from The Americans. Though I thought Jonah Hill's performances gotbbetter in the later episodes, and Justin Theroux was always great.
Just go watch it.
It's 8 episodes long and each of them them are 30mins each. You can do the whole thing in 4 hours.
He's such an insufferable tryhard, a contrived ugly fuck. He's unbearable to watch.
Natasha Lyonne is stuck in a time loop where she keeps dying at a party. Goes in a direction that is actually very similar to Maniac, though a bit more grounded and dramedy-like.
Lover, Death and Robots was pretty good.
I know it's an 18 episode anthology series, but I watched it all back-to-back and was massively entertained of most* of it.
Maniac was total shit.
OA is unironically top tier and this board hates it because there's visually goofy stuff and the diversity goonies. I don't know who to trust.
based
Godless begs to differ.
damn I bet she BRAAAPS with that thing
shut up, that doesn't true
'You' was fucking great
if you want to see a drama in the style of American Psycho with basically Dennis Reynolds as the main character+narrator, with elements of Dexter, watch it
dennis from it's always sunny? i always thought he was the best actor of the lot
Who gives a shit about Seth Rogan anyway?
Netflix even took Moneyball off their catalogue.
"Maniac" was such shit
>make incredibly interesting alt-NYC
>fuck that, lets spend all the time in this lab
>le weird for the sake of weird shit
>dream sequences that are pointless
>I'm retarded and don't understand how this stuff works
>le weird for the sake of weird shit
oof
>dream sequences that are pointless
double oof
