I loved Hatman's first three Spy Kids movies when I was 6, 7, and 8 years old, respectively. Spy Kids 3D: Game Over is one of the only director commentary tracks I've ever listened to. When I was older, I eventually watched From Dusk Till Dawn, which I love. Saw Machete and it was a fun popcorn movie, a good one. Never saw El Mariachi, Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, or Sin City, but I think I would like them from what I've heard.

Siege player here. The problem with laser sights is that it tells the enemy that you're there--that sights are pointed on them or near their location. If they look out a door/window and see sights moving up and down in a hallway or outside, then they immediately know an enemy (you) is nearby and can prepare accordingly. It reveals your position.

Think of artillery--they aren't carried by people, they're massive heavy behemoths that launch ammunition at great distances and in great force.
