Anyone else think they're faking their box office numbers to create an illusion of success?

Only when the numbers upset my neo-reactionary sensibilities

Possibly. I just don't think Black Panther really made that much money on its own.

Satan is deceptive in many ways.

Seriously, you DCfags need to give it a rest.

YOU'RE OBSESSED

apart from capeshit they have series of massive flops... so yeah, otherwise investors would bail

yes, many other /pol/ retards think that as well

Agent of Satan detected.
ignore its opinion

No. That's stupid and doesn't make any sense.

>wow that movie made $1 billion it must be good! lets go and watch it!

>what is money laundering.

Their revenues are down even though they are supposedly ruling the box office, so that means something doesn't add up.

Astroturf shilling is a massive part of Disney's marketing strategy and has been for years. The question is whether or not they are desperate enough to save face that they'd subsidize their own movies.

Solo, A Wrinkle in Time, The Nutcracker, and now Dumbo. Things are not all sunshine and rainbows for Disney, and if the MCU had its first flop right before Endgame that would be a huge PR scandal.

like every multinational company and even central banks, everyone is scamming each other, pumping up numbers to gain loans and then make money out of thin air

>DC shill calls someone else a shill
poetic

>wow that movie made a billion dollars, yes i will definitely invest in your next movie

it is suspicious that a film with zero positive word of mouth made $1 billion.

Aquaman barely managed that and that was with good reviews and positive word of mouth. And it took longer, too.

notice how there are no Captain Marvel threads that discuss the actual movie, but dozens about how it made a billion dollars.
why would such a blockbuster have zero cultural impact?

Why does it even matter if they are?! Have sex, incel.

massaging the figures is a common practice in every industry, no big deal
