A human monster is abused by a larger political monster.
society is to blame, so society gets hurt
nice titties
It's allegory about slave trade.
Yea Forums tells me Kubrick is an autism and his movies suck. what do?
>rape scene starts
>dad walks in
what's an autism?
Don't watch his movies, Yea Forums is correct.
just a bunch of droogs participating in a lil bit of the ol' ultraviolence
Don't forget the vintage bush.
It was the 70s
>bush
dropped. fuck cavemen
Mmmm a man after my own heart
This. The same political monster put an old man in jail after being crippled and having his wife raped because he would have ruined their cover up of the experiment on Alex.
It's a porn movie disguised as art. I don't really like watching women get raped so I don't think I'll watch it again.
clockwork orange was Kubrick exposing british MKULTRA,
Yea Forums was meming on you, his films are the work of someone who loves the craft
Yea Forums also thinks Shazam is movie of the year. Don't listen to them they're morons.
It's about society and social shaming. Events like Michael Jackson being outed are a perfect analogue to this. While the deeds he may have done were bad, the association with something isn't being tainted is what scars. Alex was fine with being "cured" but his love of music turning into disgust is what pushed him over the edge.
Most watchers would sympathize with Alex because he cleaned up his act. He was already good, but they had to beat it out of him till the one non-dangerous thing he loved he detested.
It's just a commentary on modern cancel culture.
The minister that shows up at the prison in the second act wants to free up room for political prisoners, rather than violent prisoners like Alex and thus he endorses the unproven and ineffective psychological treatment that Alex undergoes so that he is "fixed". It doesn't work but Alex plays along with it so that he can get out of prison. Alex then tries to kill himself due to the psychological conditioning which doesn't look good for the minister, so he visits Alex in hospital and takes photos with him, so that he (the minister) can save face.
Alex probably ball-busted the minister into giving him a healthy allowance/bribe to play along with his crap.
Its a real horrorshow
>British MK Ultra
idk if its bs but found something called project mannequin. The film starts at the korova milk bar with Alex surrounded by mannequins

They took out the last part in the book where Alex grows
It's a parody on moral panic (out of control youth of today) and how we as a society deal with it.
>Society tries to rewire MC with God and prison
>Religion and punishment doesn't work
>Society tries to rewire MC using technology
>He becomes something queer...a Clockwork Orangeā¢ because that's not how humans work
[cut chapter not allowed for American Eyes]
>Eventually he meets an old friend at a diner who has a wife and he *decides* to be a good person
Basically Alex was the original joker and everything in the book like drugging and raping two kids is just the author playing to the audiences absurd beliefs.
remember dem mj mannequin pics?
Wasn't really planning on spending my weekend going down the rabbit hole but oh well
>Starts beating his dick with me
Except the book was written by anthony burgess in 1961
What do you mean?
DA JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOZ
it ties into eugenics and the mad scientist cult
Is A Clockwork Orange basically about the growing pains of the later teenage years? Maybe Kubrick not including Alex's redemption implies that he thought teenagers would struggle to become adults in the future.
They're right.
The minister himself offers Alex some cushy job and I think also implies that the gov. will help him financially later and treat him as a "friend"
No it isn't. Not at all.
this tbqh
YOU DONT DESERVE TRIPS
Yeah bro the same board that said Captain Marlel wouldn't break 1bil are right about Kubrick being a hack
Looks like I do haha
Guess you do
I couldn't possibly fathom being such a brainlet
read between the lines. it's porn disguised as a movie
>ask mom to see it with me without thinking
>go to the theater
>watch the whole thing
>mom pretends she thought it was fine afterwards
Why because there's female nudity in it that's relevant to the story?
Its supposed to show how the feminist (dystopian) society cancels out young male virility, and what the human response to that is
