Batman was wrong. Logan actually succeeded with the illusion trick.

Anyone that doesn't prefer the Illusionist.

Based

Huge Actman probably shouldn't have killed all those clones but the Dubs brothers should've admitted which knot it was. Thomas Edison was a dick too.

The Illusionist was good but you're off your rocker if you think it was better than The Prestige.

what the

Jackman for fucking shooting Bale.

Borden for not listening and using the wrong knot. Angier for shooting Bordens finger off. Borden for gimping Angier. Angier for allowing Borden to be hung. Neither of them was a good person and both were in the wrong.

>Huge Actman probably shouldn't have killed all those clones
he died himself as well

I think the Tesla teleportation clones thing ruined the movie... at least for me.

I'll give you the "man in the box" line was really moving but the switch from practical magic to sci-fi bullshit just shit on everything that lead up to it.

Nolan - there weren't enough shots of Scarlett Johansson in a corset.

it never worked. the machine never worked. he had a body double. he only wrote that the machine worked and Borden ate it up. he reveals this at the end of the movie and you missed it entirely.

The Prestige was getting the audience (people watching Nolan’s movie) to believe the Tesla machine actually worked. In reality it didn’t.

Angier (Jackman) used Root (also Jackman) to accept the applause until the final performance. In the last one, Borden (Bale) was picked from the crowd so he could be framed for killing Angier. Root was dropped into the tank and drowned.

The trick involved convincing Borden that Angiers actually made a cloning machine via his false diary just as Borden convinced Angiers to go to Tesla. Angiers maintained the illusion even to his death.

What about when you see him shoot the 'clone'?

a "memory" written in a journal that Borden is reading in prison.

Oh, clearly I did.
I guess I'll try watching it again.

I'm pretty sure that user is baiting you. They first think it doesn't work because the hat isn't duplicating, however Angier then finds the pile of hats outside. It even shows the first time he does the trick with himself and it very clearly works and the first angier copy shoots the original.

Now I'm starting to think this is all being played out by the diary though...

What about all of the dead clones at the end of the movie?

Root could only stand there at the end of the trick and say nothing. Angiers does a speech before entering the machine so it can't be Root.
