The only good one in my opinion
better than most of them
the best one to be honest
I didn't like his story but as a performance, yes.
Yeah he was. Everyone but Kim Bassinger was good in that movie.
Jack Palance almost steals the show.
hottest
what was his best joke?
"ooooh we got a live one here"
A thread that shows Yea Forums has finally good taste. I didn't expect that...
He had so many great lines
“Never rub another man’s rhubarb.”
“This town needs a enema”
“Mirror!”
“He stole my balloons.”
“Wait’ll they a load of me.”
Totally overrated. No one captured his deep psychosis as well as Leto.
No, he wasn't good.. he wasn't even ok... he... he was the best.
Nice bait
i liked the scene where he laughs in the skeletons face. made me chuckle everytime
He was great
WHERE DOES HE GET THOSE WONDERFUL TOYS
This.
It's one of those weird situations where I wish he could have had another shot at it with a different script in a different era.
>"Ooh, I got a live one here!"
He's good. Capeshit wasn't that good pre-Raimi so I don't blame him for the shitty sets.
Based.
"FOR A WOMAN!"
>"you wouldn't hit a autistic transgendered girl with glasses would you?"
>*WHACK*
>Bob. Gun.
>BANG
>I'm gonna need some alone time, boys!
pathetic
i always enjoyed that line
He was the best! Romero's or Ledger's Jokers wouldn't have fitted in Burton's Batman.
I am the world's first fully functioning homicidal artist.
RIP Bob, he was Joker's best man
and his number one guy
This. Jack is one of the best living actors and his Joker had some great lines and delivery......... but way too cartoony for me. Not a fan.
By far the best.
[puts on glasses] THE STATISTICS SAY THAT DESPITE COMPRISING ONLY 15% OF THE POPU-
Bob is unironically a better character than Harley Quinn
I love Burton's Batman so much because Joker humiliated Batman by showing how shitty people Batman keeps defending. After Joker poisoned people to death thousands of greedy Gothamites still came to his big parade to collect money from a murderous madman. It showed Batman how corrupt even the regular people are. Nicholson didn't scream about it at Batman's face like Ledger did with his ship bomb trick. That is one the main things that makes Nicholspn's Joker so much more enjoyable to me.
Nicholson's Joker had so many nice goons. Like Lawrence the boombox guy

Seeing as Batman (1989), Batman Returns (1992) and Batman Forever (1995) are the only three good Batman films, then yes he is.
Ben Afleck's bat symbol THICCCCCCCC
Quinn was created for TAS solely to give her and Joker a "Bonnie and Clyde" dynamic in a children's show. It worked well for the cartoon, but I haven't seen anything else where Harley Quinn has been great. Margot Robbie made her one of the best parts of Suicide Squad, but that isn't really saying much.
Yeah but hos prosthetic grin is the fakest looking shit ever. Oddly enough all the movie Jokers so far have weird mouth shit going on. I like it.
Dat duck face tho
It makes me sad everytime I think about third Burton/Keaton film we never had :( poor Burton even had plans about his black and white Harvey Dent
How can Batman even compete?
Go, go, go with a smile!
"Antoine got a little bit under the collar."
"Where is the Batman? He's at home washing his tights!"
I'm surprised people hate the art gallery scene. Seems they think the use of licensed music was gay. From what I can tell the 80s was fucking gay and all the old faggots and wannabe old faggots who feel nostalgic for it are faggots. Makes sense Joker would use pop music ironically or not.
Never rub another man's rhubarb", is a classic.
maybe
Actually no. Harley was created as a plot device. In BTAS “Joker’s Favor” they made her soley so she could jump out of a cake and ambush the cops. Later they thought it’d be funnier for The Joker to jump out.
But yeah, that was the only reason she was created. Her popularity is why she became a regular part of his crew
Prince literally made those songs to be used in the movie

Yes.
The best. Keep bustin'

Yikes
Well it's time to retire
If it weren't for the nipples, the Kilmer costume actually looks pretty good.
That scene always looks good no matter how many times I have watched it. Pure unfiltered kino.
FELL FREE TO DROP IN
>his black and white Harvey Dent
I remember finding out about this ans feeling robbed of the Kino. How this has never been explored as a version of Harvey is beyond me.

Let's broaden our minds.

HONEY
YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME TODAY
Nicholson was good. My quibbles were with the somewhat clumsy setup.
It is a shame that they abandoned the concept. Nolan had a chance but he went with the traditional white Harvey.
:)
I really want a cartoon direct sequel to Batman Returns. Keaton and Burton said they’d game
>you wouldn't hit a guy with glasses!
I don't know if it counts as a joke but the "you are my NUMBER ONE GUY" line always made me laugh
Wtf kek what series is this? The anime?
Best Joker line. Ever.
Unironically this. I don't even know what the point of this scene was, but the way he delivers the line is perfect.
>Have you shipped a million of those things
>YES
>Ship 'em ALL! We're gonna take 'em out a WHOLE NEW DOOR!
youtube.com
>Well that's the gag, chances are, you bought em already!
This entire bit.
It’s vintage Joker. It’s dark, it’s twisted, but most importantly, it’s actually fucking funny in an extremely chilling way.
>RED AND WHITE
>BLACK AND GREEEHEEEN
The original Batman: The Animated Series 1992-1995 was very heavily inspired by Burton's Gotham, but it still isn't a sequel. They could've probably done a Burton directed animation movie during the original show. Personally I dislike The New Batman Adventures because they started to use much more brighter colors and less shadows and characters also looked kinda wonky and it also started the gradual abandoning of Burtonverse.
HONKmind.
Kek
aww shit I just realized it's "black and white, red and green" sorry fellas
>Nicholson didn't scream about it at Batman's face like Ledger did with his ship bomb trick
This is such a good point and speaks volumes about how far we’ve fallen in the last 30 years
gassing plebes was the right answer.
He was a good Jack Nicholson dressed as a clown
>I really want a cartoon
You mean like those terrible cartoon """movies""" Warner Brothers shits out? Literally all of them look like 10 cent garbage even the ones people suck off like Red Hood and TDKR. Or do you mean something on the scale of Spider-Verse?
>chilling
only if you're a ten year old redditor
Imagine being such a greedy little shit that you go to this man's parade. Joker truly was a hero in disguise when he tried to gas all those degenerates.
Yeah, films are getting less and less subtle. If you don't have a Joker acting all psycho all the time producers think that audiences forget that he is the Joker. Leto's Joker even had "damaged" tattooed in his forehead so people would know that Joker sure is crazy
one thing I wish they had left in the movie was that all the money he threw out was bullshit with his own face on the bills
Put yourself in the place of the people hearing it. If you can, that is, you low-empathy, zero-imagination sperg.
I thought that *was* in the movie.
The Animated Basedman series is fucking based. Anything else is trash.
They make animate movies sometimes
They need to give something to do to the WB animation department other than get into fights with autistic people in the pan pizza podcast
it wasn't
Yeah, no idea if Burton forgot about it or what happened. It would've nicely connected that line about Joker wanting his face on one-dollar bill to his parade.
The best Joker and Catwoman in both films.
Pfeiffer is so damn sexy. Batman Returns also has one of the most sensual dance scenes when Bruce and Selina dance in Shreck's fancy dress party.
Interesting. I wonder if they shot it and decided afterwards that it was too “wacky”
>and you could say the Joker is always joking (the clue is in his name after all)
Who the fuck writes these things?
a real joker this guy
Michael Perone
"Michael Perone has written for The Baltimore Sun, Baltimore City Paper, The Island Ear (now titled Long Island Press), and The Long Island Voice, a short-lived spinoff of The Village Voice. He currently works as an Editor in Manhattan. And he still thinks Michael Keaton was the best Batman. "
Probably just trying to make his word count seem bigger.

This, anyone who prefers Ledger is an absolute edgelord faggot
Boomer answer: yes the best
Zoomed answer: no the worst
Generationless Chad answer: who cares, it’s too old of a movie and capeshit anyways
>Generationless
>it's too old
>face to face starts playing
He sure knew how to make settings. I would really love to see Gotham having more diverse architecure of combining gothic, art deco and brutalism in the future instead of the Nolan's Chicago. Good backgrounds and atmosphere always make films better.
>Batman (1989)
>capeshit
Good one user. Are you imitating Joker with your crazy jokes?
We kind of got him in the Lego Batman Movie
Rick James' Superfreak played by big band is also pretty damn swell.

It was a very nice homage to Billy Dee Williams.
>tfw no Billy Dee Williams Two Face
Instead of K I N O we got Tommy Lee Jones hating working with Jim Carrey and Carrey delivering his basic funny words lines.
