Why was this movie so cringy? I remember back in the day Unbreakable was amazing to me. Gotta admit, haven't rewatched ever since. But watching this Glass was such a cringe inducing experience.

garbage editing and the cringelord McAvoy
Not that bad.
Unbreakable: A
Split: A
Glass: B (good but weak end)
Trendy Shyamalan hate is out of fashion.
This has to be bait. Glass was utter cringe. Forced, not organic feeling, boring, just garbage movie.
after this movie they made me think that unbreakable is stupid movie, split was very good film though
Budget I think really hindered the movie. Think about it, Unbreakable had a 75 million dollar budget and that was 18 years ago! Glass’ budget was 20 million.
You can’t do shit with that kind of budget as far as action goes. Why it felt so anti climatic
it seriously fucked with the legacy of unbreakable. that thing was a masterpiece. this one was pure retardation.
Iktf bro, Matrix, Prometheus tier
The psychiatrist was awful with the fake concern (although that was obviously intentional, it was painful to watch and listen to) and too many people had a lot of overt, expositiony dialogue a la Nolan to "connect the events to comic books explicitly" and explain clearly to the lowest common denominator what was happening. Pretty disappointing.
And the pysch's "specialty" was idiotic as well. Should've grounded the film more to make it better.
demythologized & plebized
I watched this without realising split existed
The moronic screenplay didn't help.
Didn't even realize it was part of a trilogy. Meh movie, but not bad.
Nothing's as cringy as the director's name though.
The shrink was more annoying because of her godawful face desu
Rewatch it. It feels like someone else entirely conceptualized and directed this movie. Glass was like a written exposé on the superhero mythology put on screen. It had terrible pacing and dialogue. That being said - there could have been a good movie in there I think. But Shamaladingong should have taken at least one year more for the script and pre-production. Everything felt rushed and poorly thought through.
And honestly: the ending made me boil. It was an utter shame and one of the most dissatisfying and unworthy endings to established characters ever. Just awful.
If being a super-genius is a crime, then why didn't the secret society try to suppress Einstein or Feynman?
Maybe they did try, and failed.
The worst part was the whole shrink making David doubt he has powers! He’s supposedly been doing superhero shit for 18 years since Unbreakable. The whole point of Unbreakable was he was no longer able to ignore or explain away his abilities
unbreakable is lame, the whole movie is buildup to something that's obvious from the start of the movie instead of him just becoming a superhero and doing shit
Fucking this. Glass utterly reversed Dunns entire character development without any internal logic whatsoever. It made me furious.
>Oh by the way I listened to the police scanners, the cops are actively looking for you
really M night you pajeet peace of excrement!!!
*drowns in puddle
fucking moronic movie
