Is the DC brand really that damaged? If Shazam was a Marvel movie it would be making bank now with these scores, yet it's flopping

About to watch Shazam in a theater in Korea on a Friday night. I'm the only person here lol. So yeah, I think DC is that damaged.
NO ONE WANTS THESE MOVIES
Shazam isn't even that good, desu. Most of the movie isn't bad, but:
- The "7 sins" CG monsters are absolute fucking garbage.
- It tries to not be a kids' movie at times, but most of the movie just ends up being a kids' movie. And by that I mean storytelling and acting you'd expect from an episode of the power rangers. I felt bad for the guy playing the villain, because while he started the movie ok, by the end he was pretty much Rita Repulsa.
If you go watch this movie, don't go in expecting an early-marvel quality movie, just go in expecting a DC movie that doesn't blow.
>yet it's flopping
I keep seeing this but don't see any actual proof or are we doing the spiderverse thing of pretending it's a flop?
There are no numbers out you goddamn shill. What is up with these forced "IT'S FLOPPING" threads? It's literally trolling
>great movie
>Marveldrones immediately start pushing false narratives
>forcing yourself to watch yet another capeshit flick
>but it has nice scores on da internet!!
lmao
Flopping? its been out for one fucking day you fucking retard
I didn't pay attention to the score at all and was pleasantly surprised. Literally everyone hating on the movie here hasn't even seen it. Had a great thread on Yea Forums last night and barely anyone had anything negative to say about it. In my opinion, WB is knocking it out of the park at the moment, probably because they are leaving their directors the required creative freedom
I don't think your average person cares about the DC brand. The problem is just that to normies it's a no-name superhero movie that appears to be aimed at children.
It's the opposite of Deadpool which might have had a similar comedic tone and name-recognition level, but had the "Adults Only" appeal.
