Are there any decent clown movies that aren't horror? They don't need to be masterpieces, I'm not looking for Casablanca here. Just want some solid Clownflicks.

Shakes the Clown.
The first 10 minutes are great - the rest I'll leave to your interpretation.
Billy Madison has a clown in it.
>Fellini
So there is some clownkino out there. Looks good.
Zach Galifianakis and Louie Anderson starring together seems interesting.
I'll check it out. I like Bobcat Goldthwait from what little I've seen with him.

Is this movie any good. Synopsis seems interesting? I hope he is not the murderer
Seems like an obvious choice, there's multiple film adaptions of the Pagliacci opera apparently.
Just go outside. We are living in one.
Casablanca is not a masterpiece.
Before the leftists embarked on their evil campaign to bastardize and demonize clowns, there was true clownkino. Pic related was it.
No leftie, no SJW, no soiboi, no numale, no attempts to depict clowns as purely horror, will ever take away the fact that one of the greatest movies of all time, was about the circus, and had a great clown in it.
FYI, SOI = Superbly Outstanding Individual
> the real Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's Circus' 1951 troupe appears in the film, with its complement of 1400 people, hundreds of animals, and 60 carloads of equipment and tents.
Cool, might be interesting for that alone.
stroszek

Seems like a good movie, been meaning to watch more Herzog stuff. But it looks like he's just a street performer, not a full blown clown. Worth watching anyway I suppose.
Beautiful.
>all clown movies that aren't horror are about sad clowns
the best joke
Seems like clowns need to be scary or tragic to get a decent movie. There's got to be some straightforward happy clown movies out there.
Posted this in the other thread that got borked, but this is genuinly entertaining

Shakes the Clown with Bobcat Goldthwait was ok
Killer Clowns from outer space is funny
Of course the old It movie
Yeah, saw that trailer posted in the other thread, looks bonkers. Might check it out.
Scary Clown movie, but I'll accept it. Seems solid.
Bill Murray as a clown, surprised I've never heard of it.

Frasier S11E16 - Boo!
The Simpsons S03E06 - Like Father, Like Clown
The Simpsons S06E15 - Homie the Clown
Seinfeld S04E09 - The Opera
Yeah sorry dude I didn’t see the ‘non Horror’ bit in the OP. But if I’m remembering right I think it’s on the lighter side of Horror.
Supervillain counts as horror/evil clown
Why do people hate clowns so much?
Same reason no one wants to watch the marx brothers or monthy python anymore, they're not funny anymore. And if you don't find them funny they're just annoying and look slightly unsettling.
Found something that's not horror from the looks of it. Another kind of sad clown movie, but seems to be about a man whose a genuine clown and just wants to entertain.
Anyone willing to watch this Brazilian movie?
Because they exist solely to make people, especially little kids, smile and laugh, usually at their own expense, so of course the artsy Californian elites are going to hate them and smear them in every piece of entertainment they can get their hands on.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air S06 E13 - I, Clownius
Still my fave Fresh Prince episode
>joker
>villain
How about a clown who DOESN'T kill people?
Memes and /pol/ aside, I am shocked by the lack of non-horror and unhappy depictions of clowns in public media
Oh, imagine posting a source run by marxists. banning marxists symbols in my country apparently wasn't enough, we should have ban them from existence entirely.
what are some kinos with nude or sexualized female clowns?
I find it amazing how out of touch liberals are with internet culture. They literally have a Grandma Gertrude tier grasp of memes.
>Before the leftists embarked on their evil campaign to bastardize and demonize clowns
?
John wayne gacy and subsequent horror genre did not help their pr campaign.
Has the evil clown stereotype gained much more strength with this guy?
See:
I thought it was because of that
But okay
