The Dark Knight has in arguably the best opening sequence of any movie of this century. Close second would be Up that told an entire story in 4 minutes.

In the Mood for Love
Punch Drunk Love
No Country for Old Men
Kung Fu Hustle
Caché
There Will Be Blood
But you should listen to this rude, but right user
I think a sequence is different to a scene. No Country and Blood have entire scenes but a sequence is tighter and hard to start a movie with.
Star Trek Into Darkness. A wonderful romp with great action, suspense, humor - it almost works too well, it overshadows the try-hard over-referential rest of the movie.
This

Also - 28 Weeks Later. Things go south so quickly, it really builds back up the world and the tension.
