Suck it faggot

should’ve been called NIGGER-man, into the NIGGERverse

Better than the rest of the animated movies last year which had neither

cringe boomer

>Incredibles 2 kinos in your path

Doesn't say much though since it was a shit year for American animation

Fuck you bitch. Now THIS is a true example of that.

Literally the pinnacle of capeshit and one of the best movies of 2018.
Where do you faggots with these shit opinions come from?

that face is a mess

I heard nothing but amazing things from this movie, and expected something less than amazing and I was still let down. It was a decent movie, but yes, it was mostly "style" over substance, but didn't think it excelled even at that.

Sure, maybe it should have won best animated film against weak competition but it was also the diversity oscars this year so I don't think it won on its own merits. It's insane to think this movie has an oscar for animation but not Loving Vincent from last year. But then again, AA's are a social and political circus now.

Everything is

Yea Forums

Yes. Most great action movies are. People thinking that an action movie can compensate for shitty visuals with their writing is what gets us drab, boring looking stuff like the MCU. And honestly, I don't thing Spiderverse's writing was worse than those.

This so much OP

even the style was annoying at times, literal clusterfuck to the eyes. It would've been much better if they kept it more simple, not seizure inducing color splatters
the AA's were always controlled, it's always functioned as a bunch of hollywood jews seeking to promote their own industry and pretend it's elevated to art.

99% of academy award films are trash or propaganda, everyone knows the true quality stuff goes unawarded because they don't bring any money in.

Who the hell would wanna watch the academy awards if they only awarded obscure films the audience doesn't have the film IQ to even understand or have the desire to watch?

It's like when awards shows give the prize to whichever celebrity RSVPs

The AA's are a business

YOU REDGUARDS ARE ALL THE SAME. ALL FLASH AND NO FURY!

More substance than the last 4. Probably my favorite, actually. I love Raimi but here we have something new, that owns it's world, characters and medium, while being heartfelt, funny and exciting. Just as good as Spiderman 2, maybe better.

It turned Spider-man into a Batman tier character. Having a whole team of Spiderfags was just comfy and they executed the script really well. They gave Miles and Peter B the first act to set everything up, then Gwen shows up at the beginning of the second act, then the rest of the gang shows up at the second act midpoint. It's honestly one of the best structured capeshits

And fuck everyone that doesn't think that Peter B Parker sweatpants spider-man is best Spider-man.

>no substance
Plenty of substance for a kid capeshit movie to be fair. More than can be said for any of the live-action stuff. Although I wish they had more time for the drama in old Peter seeing these other world counterparts of himself and his loved ones particularly Aunt May. You'd think that they'd want some sort of closure after losing each other in their respective worlds. They could've explored more with Gwen too.

Found the nigger

There was enough substance to balance it out faggot.

>It's honestly one of the best structured capeshits
I can't really agree with this. For a 2-hours long movie, all the spiders that aren't MIles or Peter get almost zero relevance plot-wise and exist merely for a few jokes and action scenes. Even Gwen was barely there, they had a conversation after meeting and one before the ending, yet there seems to be some sort of romantic connection between them.
Then you have the whole "my father may have think I killed his brother, no wait, that's fixed already" and the story of the uncle himself.

This movie should have been two movies. One exclusively about Miles Morales gaining his powers, having family troubles and discovering that his uncle is a villain working for Kingpin, and a second movie about him meeting the other spidermen and learning a bit from every one of them to become a better hero and actually save the day. As it stands now, the movie tries to do too many things and rushes through them all.

Is there SFM porn yet?
