It wasnt a great movie but I will say that the aesthetic is right and is 100% more believable than Snyder's SP.
Man of Steel is a better superman movie. It just wasn't Reeves Superman

I was talking about aesthetic. The general feel of MoS shouldve been closer to this than whatever dark tone Snyder was going for. Im not saying Superman Returns is a good movie.

I liked the plot, while it was not really original. And the tone. I liked the kind of "hope" vibes of the film. I had the impression that with this superman, the world was going to be better.
MoS and BvS had the opposite tone: hopeless. Now with MoS superman, the world's gonna be a shitty hell of a gritty place. Superman returns shows humans doing their best to be like him, Man of Steel is putting a barrier between him and us.
Both Superman and Batman looks a lot better with they shorts on.
