Just compare both, i did the same yesterday and after comparing the first two episodes I preferred the sub. The dialogue is just better in the sub and Guts has an awful voice in the dub too.
And I really hope you read the manga first, atleast two first 20 or so volumes. You would greatly ruin your experience if you watched the anime first. Just got done reading it for the first time ever and its amazing, now Im watching the anime
