Looks like some kind of social breakdown so yes women are at fault here

Movie is blue Valentine. It's divorce, because of the guy

I'd say it's a little bit of both, Ryan's character is more reactive though and was willing to go the distance with the relationship despite her child from another guy.
He also had the balls to actually correct and eventually accept the cracks in the marriage

>It's divorce, because of the guy
Cuck. The marriage breaking up was no one's fault. It had just run it's course. He was content to have a simpler life, and she was disappointed in him, probably wanting some dude to provide for her 24-7. They had a long, ugly breakup. Don't blame the man, faggot.

Not the user you replied to but it came off as if Ryan loved her more than she ever did and could.
I mean that is kinda true though, in a relationship there is always one person that loves his/her partner more than the other.

>He was content to have a simpler life, and she was disappointed in him, probably wanting some dude to provide for her 24-7.
So it was her fault.

>watching chick flicks
cringe.

>chick flick
This is actual romance kino

The guy stopped working and was abusing

That's true. She resented him for just wanted to be a house painter and chill. She was a nurse and wanted him to be more ambitious. They grew apart. But yes, it was apparent he was more into her than she into him.

He was a painter, and never abused her.

nobody gives a shit about your soap opera tier garbage lmao not even filthy incels

>He was a painter, and never abused her.

Yeah but he was not getting any work, that's why she wanted him to learn something else

There's not really any fault here. You can see in the flashbacks that they were never really compatible and that the whole thing had a finite shelf life, that's what makes the movie good.

And I am that incel. Fuck women, fuck bitches and fuck whores.

It's kinda scary that it isn't obvious at first but when you look back you can basically foresee relationships having a "finite shelf life".
That's fucking scary.

>Yeah but he was not getting any work
I think you are making that shit up. He was wearing paint-stained clothes the whole movie, and seemed tired from working a lot. And I don't recall any conversation about lacking jobs. He probably didn't make much. House painters only make like $12 an hour unless you own your own business. She probably just wanted him to have a normal job that paid more.

The marriage ended because he wasn't paying close attention and the daughter wandered off and was found dead on the roadside, likely a hit and run accident. Marriage was doomed at that point.

No, they had a scene of the girl trying to make convince him to learn something else since he wasn't bringing in money and she thought he was wasted potential

Yes, she wanted him to make more money. But he was working, and nothing in the movie implied otherwise. She was a nurse making probably $60K a year. He was a painter, probably making $20K to $25K a year. To have a better life, she probably wanted him to be more in line with what she was making. A $110K or $120K combined income is pretty good in rural Pennsylvania, where they lived. The marriage would be less stressed, they would have more for retirement, etc...

It's ALWAYS the guy's fault
