This was garbage. It was just a rambling pointless story that went nowhere. They didn't even have the decency to write some actual jokes for it.

i liked the cinematography but yeah the story never escalated in an interesting way and the moral is fucking dumb.

Both episodes looked fine, it's just the writing that is absolutely dreadful. Which is bad, because it's the main reason you watch the twilight zone

The pussy sucking line was great. Really reminded me of the originals although one could argue it was more of an Outer Limits line.

As the Twilight Zone, it's terrible. As a standalone show, it's mediocre and derivative

>this dude comes up and slaps your 2nd amendment on the ass
What do

shit on his street

the 2nd amendment starts with "a well regulated" that's 3 words out of the 27 words, 11% of the whole thing

I just flew in from faggotland and boy are my arms tired. And not from the reason you think.

prefatory clause, bitch

Kek

It wasn't terrible. Probably could've even been good if they had just whittled it down to half an hour. The thing I really liked about it was that it had a kind of dream-like quality to it that felt almost like the original.

>my dog is named cat
Imagine how hard up you'd have to be to steal a joke from Ghostbusters 2016?

I'm sure the writers knew how he felt.

Even if you cut half an hour the story doesn't go anywhere or say anything. Seriously, what was the point? "Oh look this guy's an asshole who murders people without any hesitation feel bad for him"

He got punished for not making trite shitty political jokes because they have meaning and make people think is what I got from it.

But nobody cared about his shitty political jokes. He was a bad comedian at the start and a bad comedian at the end. Maybe the point was just to be glad Tracy Morgan is out there making terrible comedians kill themselves

"Shall not be infringed" is 4 words. That's even more than 3.

>its still better than "nightmare at 30000 feet"
>has proof
>some guy doesnt want to listen to it because he wore those headphones for 5 minutes making it infected
>Protag doesnt try it anymore

he does, the marshall heard it offscreen

He wasn't meant to be sympathetic character at all though. I'm surprised /poltv/ doesn't like this episode more because of it. It's literally about how sjws are really bloodthirsty narcissistic opportunists.

Nightmare pissed me off a lot more than comedian, which was just boring. The twist was dumb, and the extra final twist was even dumber. Did they just forget to hire good writers for this shit?

The carpet munching nigger was annoying.

I thought the air marshal was going to rape him. That would have been a neat twist.

when was this?

right after he's arrested

Should have ended like in the first episode of Black Mirrors where the comedian fucks a live pig on stage.

The funniest part was when he actually responded to a heckler by going WHO LAUGHED

huh. I could barely hear it, so I guess I just missed it my first time through

Can you explain the ending to me?
Is it hell? Was Joe the devil just cause

I think it's a commentary on how people who claim to be the "good guy" are actually hurting other people despite their best intentions. This could relate to white people going too far when trying to defend people of other races just to virtue signal, but that might be a stretch.

i thought joe was just some guy who fucked up another flight and this was him trying to land the plane with all survivors, redeeming himself

You're right about the first bit, but instead of landing it he decided to commit suicide and take everyone with him. Speaking of, why did they kill Justin but not Joe? Dumb

yeah they dont even show joe at the end. if he was trying to kill everyone why did he give justin that oxygen tank breather? why would he want to kill anyone?

How did they know he was the cause?
That's why I think its hell, since Justin helped the (devil) Joe, he sinned and will suffer for what he did, thus explaining why everyone lived through the airplane but he disappeared. Dumb? Yeah but it's the only explanation I have for that shit ending. Also If they survived, why did the podcast bring up the 1st podcast? Wouldnt it have been made redundant?

I'm not sure what the moral here was meant to be. Tell bad, hacky jokes? Nightmare at 30000 Feet was better (though still not exactly great) until the last five minutes which stretched both credulity and my patience. Not sure why they chose to lead with two episodes by certified TV hacks when the next two are directed by the guy who made The First Purge and Ana Lily Amirpour.

I looked it up as well, really these are the writers and directors that they got for the Twilight Zone, writers for Rick and Morty and Deadpool 2, and black mirror director of two weak episodes ?

Also the fact that they decided to use actors who are already well known from other stuff, and they chose the ones with the most annoying punchable faces as well. What the fuck

The original Twilight Zone often used well known actors as well.

The shitty jokes pissed me off. Seeing you have two actual comedians.

The point though, I couldn't get. The devil told him to talk about himself, to give the audience himself.

I think it was trying to say, that as an artist or comedian, once you give something ri an audience, its theirs. Forever, no take backs.

So he started throwing people under the bus, or to the lions. Then finally himself.

so...the second amendment...

Gun control.
Watch your mouth.

Is one way to look at it.
