I can't remember 3 scenes of this movie.
is it worth to rewatch?

Reservoir is good until you realize Tarantino ripped off an entire Hong Kong action flick

i really like it. it's got a lot of memorable lines and it's really well filmed. plus, the story is superb.

It's actually better once you realize it doesn't even matter he ripped if off because he transcended the original in every way

Payback with Mel Gibson, just make sure it's the director's cut

alright, I'll check that one out. unfortunately though I have issues finding directors cut torrents

Yes. It is quite simply a good film that uses everything it has going for it very effectively
The story being told out of order is not needlessly complicated and isn't just a gimmick

it's on rarbg, it's called payback: straight up. entirely different ending, different overall tone, really shows what jewlywood focus groups and politicised screenings can do to mess up a movie. also, i recommend the way of the gun.

I liked the Italian Job

It's extremely easy to find, RARBG has it

Didn't Gibson side with the producers who wanted to dumb it down and go along with reshoots? Helgeland's original cut was seen as "too dark". Gibson should have used his clout to back his director

Watch Yakuza films

Maybe they didn't get along? Some of the best performances are when the director and lead actor hate each other

>Didn't Gibson side with the producers who wanted to dumb it down and go along with reshoots?
i don't know, don't care. doesn't matter. director's cut is a more interesting, less looney toons film.
>Gibson should have used his clout to back his director
instead of standing by his own opinion? why?

this was pretty good, but it goes the complete opposite direction of the 40 minute procedural where the crime is solved with the perfect evidence in the final 5 minutes, a sappy ending, and everything forgotten by the next episode.
