It's all true. All the Netflix seasons are bad, but they're at least watchable as background noise. Maybe even a chuckle here and there, usually from Lahey. The animated series is outright torture, it's almost unbearable to watch.

Eh, it was starting to get a little ridiculous in season 6, and 7 was the first bad season. They were smart to just make the movies and call it quits, but I guess they just wanted to keep making cash and decided to renew the whole thing. The netflix seasons are fucking sad, everyone is horribly aged and tired looking.

I saw him with John Dunsworth and it was fucking great. Of course now that John is gone it might not be as fun. I'd go if you are a big fan of the series. It's worth seeing them in the flesh at least once if they aren't charging stupid money for tickets

The reason why they keep trying to keep the show alive is because the bought the show from the guy who started it. Everything from Netflix on is run by the three main guys. Only thing is, they're pretty shit at writing and the formula is too played out. Half the supporting cast is gone or dead.

Tho I haven't seen either, I would say Corner Gas. I haven't seen Corner Gas for a while, but I remember it being on TV around 2003 and having magic stuff in it. It hasn't been on for at least a decade and has a supernatural premise so I'm guessing the cast is old now and they thought this medium would help continue the series better.
