I just bought my ticket. Thankfully, I live in a smaller town of about 90,000 so I only had to wait 2 HOURS to buy my ticket lol. It'll do just fine.

Ticket sales launched this afternoon here in the Netherlands, 5 minutes after release the majority of tickets were completely sold out (here the movie's midnightscreening starts the 23th) They also sold tickets for the midnight marathon which also includes Infinity War which sold instantly. I had to get tickets for thursday (2 days after release here) and i managed to do so while their site was constantly crashing due to people overloading (were talking about the biggest cinema chain in this country). 10 minutes after release it was impossible to still get decent seats for any earlier day.

And that is all just for 1 cinema chain here, and there are several.

I think if it was really comedically bad then the word of mouth would possibly draw more people to it than if it was particularly good. This is true, sadly.
It’s like shitty flops of video games. Even when they’re unsuccessful they do more than break even due to successfulmarketing.
The last air bender movie was one of the worst films ever made undoubtedly and yet it still was successful due to hype. I can see MCU solo outings and especially “the eternals” losing steam but not this, not yet. Give it a couple of years.
