From a narrative perspective, they didn't follow their own rules. Didn't he talk shit about his girlfriend? Wouldn't she have disappeared like everyone else? And then if he erases himself, it has a butterfly effect on everyone else's life - so technically, nothing goes back to "normal" and possibly people's lives could be worse without him existing.

Felt like amateur hour. Does Jordan Peele even know what funny is?
Everything sucked about it. Every beat, every cadence, every tonal shift you could see coming from miles away. I figured out the entire episode as soon as he went home and looked for his dog.
The lighting was atrocious. The writing was atrocious. The acting was the best thing about it, I was actually surprised seeing Tracy Morgan act like a sane person.

An element not working in a story for someone isnt them "not getting it" its just not good. it didnt work. It was cringy. it didnt build up suspense, it didnt make it feel surreal or otherworldly. It just didnt work.

Episode sucked. I'm not a comedian so it had no moral impact on me. I couldn't care less about the main character, he deserved his shit for being such a stupid human as long as I'm concerned. The pacing was awful and the tone was all over the place. There was no mystery or eerie feeling to it at all.
