She had glass eyes in the anime, nothing about her was biological, only a small part of her original brain

In the manga there's no indication what her race is or who she was before she became a cyborg.

Plus in the anime the puppet master is in the exact same body as hers but with a different hair cut/colour. She sees herself (or rather another version of her model) when walking about town too.
