Legitimately one of the best non-Douriff picks they could've chosen.

Hamill will bring in a bigger audience AND do a great job.

Sad because Douriff is a beast and a great actor in his own right.

Well let's be honest Chucky is just a Jack Nicholson impression.

Chucky all of a sudden speaking in an adult mans voice and making demands/manipulating the main character isn't really scary at first, it gets scary because the kid refuses or can't comply and the doll starts getting angry, swearing, yelling and violent to make the kid do what he wants.

Honestly, he is probably the best replacement for Douriff

This remake thing is a sham and covering up the original series' still ongoing plot, which has just recently gotten really good.

Let's be real, Dourif is 100x the actor as Hamill but a fraction of the draw as someone like Hamill, especially right now.

Yeah I feel like he's gonna make the voice sort of campy, where Dourif's Chucky is dead serious even in the movie about his tranny kid
