is it really that bad? I haven't watched it yet
Your fortune: Excellent Luck
I've only watched the first episode but it was really boring/stupid.
First episode was awful turned it off and giving the second one a try
N
absolutely based
Second one was predictable and a pointless remake. 3rd one looks like Black Mirror I can rewind real life shit. Maybe the rest will be worth watching or these writers just ruined the whole season
It's a remake of one of my favorite original episodes so I'll give it a shot, holy shit was that Dan Carlin ?
The intro is so fucking bad
First two eps sucked.
Preview to the third is yet another rip off of Groundhogs Day (Happy Death Day).
Critics were right... its uninspired and just plain bad.
Yeah its Carlin, only good thing in it.
but its so progressive
1st episode was pretty terrible, didnt seem to have a purpose or moral outside of a very gimmicky premise. and no twist i guess? how do they remember his set if every person he mentions ceases to exist and nobody knows who they are?
2nd episode was decent, hijacker character was based
My honest opinion? The first episode is actually pretty decent. I liked it. As long as you don't get triggered by the sight of a Indian MC and a cringy black lesbian comedian then you can find enjoyement in it.
The second episode though, the newest Terror at 30000 feet isn't quite as good. In fact, the more you think about it the more it just doesn't make sense. The ending is just weird, and the story as a whole is completely different to the original where it honestly feels weird to call it a remake of the original episode. It's more like a Twilight Zone episode that just also happens to be on a plane. It's a good concept, but poorly executed.
I'll have to wait and see the next few episodes to pass judgement though.
>how do they remember his set if every person he mentions ceases to exist and nobody knows who they are?
You're suppose to assume they don't really remember what it was they were laughing at.
NPR said it was bad so Idk if I want to watch desu
Also not all Twilight Zone episodes needed a twist. It's a Good Life had no twist ending after all. Sometimes it's not about the revelation, but instead the message.
First 2 episi3des were great.
Just give it to me straight: does he do his job in an unbiased way, or is there the "Woke black dude" snark in his expressions and his tone every time he speaks?
He doesn't act like a we wuz kangz but the first 2 episodes are just legit terrible regardless.
I don't understand what your question is, but he doesn't strike me as obnoxious in his narration. He's a decent replacement of Rod Serling, although nobody could ever truly replace him.
Affirmative Action Creative: The Show
They already tried doing that back in 2002 and it failed hard. This was the host.
>shadman
What would had happen if Samir said something like "you know guys the other night I found my idol J.C wheeler, to bad his a fucking sociopath. I think he's actually the devil in disguise but that would be to good for him after all why would the devil want to be 80 year old Niger who vapes like a 20 year old. You know what he did to me? I can't be funny to you guys unless I make fun of people I know and then they cease to exist, what a fucking dipshit. Well guess what dumbass I'm not gonna kill myself I'm gonna kill your sorry ass. Oh wait sorry I can't kill you because you never existed on the first place my words not yours you son of a bitch. Thankfully there would be no " momma " to cry for you I know won't.
Are there any whites in it?
there is a trailer i keep seeing with adam scott on an airplane
They arent actually going to redo the shatner episode are they?
it's similar but there's a "new" twist to it
it's garbage tho don't bother
Yes and it's the first time it's ever been done too user.
I usually dont mind remakes but in the case of that episode there is nothing that doesn't hold up. Its a really simple story that isnt dated in the slightest. when they remake something it shows they dont really understand the original
Sucks almost as much as the original. At least this one's colored.
too colored if you ask me
Is that the nigga from ghost dog?
>The Comedian
This episode should inspire people to pursue a career in writing. The barrier appears to be so incredibly low that children could be professional writers. Jesus Christ.
>Nightmare At 30,000 Feet
A modern take on a classic that felt like it ended on a comedy beat.
And what's with the cinematography in this series? Everything is pushed way into the far third of the frame... fucking everything. I don't know how much more of that I can stomach, it's so distractingly off-putting. Peele's narration is also terrible, his voice is far too effeminate.
Funny. The original Twilight Zone was progressive as well. It shit on the racists of the 1950s.
Ofcourse the entertainment industry has always been left. Conservatives can't create anything of worth.
but at least the storytelling was kino
so behind that zpooky door were skeletons in the closet?♨️
enoguh with the memes
remaking it a third time
Wait. Hardcore History Dan Carlin??
...
>he doesn't strike me as obnoxious in his narration
>He's a decent replacement of Rod Serling
Is it possible to have taste this bad or am I in some kind of twilight zone?
Eh we know its going to be a letdown anyway, with "the other side" praising it for shit that didnt matter like funny quip or set pieces even when it wont help the story much.
Post short story you want to be adapted. Here's one, about a kikey dude that gets a bargain deal if he includes more people on his hit list
en.wikipedia.org
It had been adapted numerous times by students, so it might be a detriment, but eh why not? youtube.com
The twist is it's complete dogshit.
I considered myself subverted. In the future, I think I'll flip the script and subvert *their* expectations by not watching shit they think they've successfully marketed to me.
