was thinking about this at work today actually. Obviously the eyes (on anybody) draw you in but Alita's big ol eyes are impossible to look away from. It's probably why on every other viewing I actively paid attention to the rest of her face/hand movements because there's just as much soul and character going on. How old you want? Here's something from 2005.
It's changed, in some ways it's better, in some ways it's worse. But the biggest changes are there was almost no politics before and anime was everywhere. Oh and one more tip when you do become an oldfag don't outyourself or else it becomes an impromptu Q&A, that's a lesson I thought I already learned but seemed to have forgotten at some point.
1. I dunno, I've gotten major gets, I've seen things explode in ways I never expected, it's hard to pick out anything specific.
2. I mainly frequent /m/ Yea Forums and /g/ and that's the true today, I came here for the porn mostly for /g/ back when /g/ was porn but I liked what /g/ turned into as well so I kept going there

4. No, I'm no neet but I'm still not the type to go to cons nor do I feel the need to meet up in person with people from the interbutt.
5. I watched the OVA on VHS, years later I heard James Cameron got the rights back and it was going to be his next major movie, then he did Avatar instead so I forgot about it, then I saw that Robert Rodriguez was directing and it cast some literal who as the lead but I like Robert Rodriguez too so I wasn't broken up by it, then I forgot about it again until I saw a thread on /m/ about it and decided to go see it and as it turned out I really enjoyed it. Not a very exciting story, sorry.
