They don’t like other people enjoying things they don’t control
>muh sjws
>Being this much of a faggot
This one wasn't very sjw-y. Though. The men were men. There was lots of titties, waifu bait, and shit getting wrecked. Most of the stories didn't have some agenda fueled narrative. The one starring the black pilot lady was just about some ship. Nothing felt really forced. Even the first one with the 'badass' dragoon tattoo type girl had a twist.
It's pretty on the level entertainment.
The first two episodes completely turned me off this show, does the leftist agenda slow down later on?
>Nothing felt really forced
>first episode is literally about le stronk woman that got raped by evil white men and now seeks revenge on them
>one literally says "Fuck men!"
Yeah, not forced at all. Seriously, if you don't see anything wrong with this shit, you're part of the problem.
The nice thing about an anthology like this is they can't get them all. Each is separate.
Even Animatrix had a few garbage entries.
>if you don't see anything wrong with this shit, you're part of the problem.
If you scream SJW at every single thing you watch, you're a much bigger problem. I'm sure if you try hard enough you can find SJW propaganda in every movie ever made.
you don't really need to try to find the propaganda in this peice of shit show
not really no
If you watch any of them Beyond the Aquila Rift is the one you should see perfect short sci fi story.
Does it have dykes, mixed race couples, drag queens and a "HUMANS BAD!" message like the first 4 episodes?
Nope.
Is the only reason this show caught on because of shills?
Every netflix show gets shilled heavily here it just so happens that a relative of mine told me about it good amount of the shorts are forgettable and lol so random but others have a really good aesthetic going for them.
The only reason it caught on is straight scifi is fucking rare these days. ANYTHING will grab the attention of fans if it's halfway decent. Just look at how the Orville is so popular because they actually know what makes the heart of a Star Trek show versus the people absolutely torpedoing the real franchise with Discovery.
>If it's halfway decent
And that's why I don't understand why this crap became popular
Because half of it is decent and classic Asimov/Clarke type stuff. It's just frontloaded with garbage.
I enjoyed it despite the sjw under/overtones. the girl who was raped getting revenge on the rapists? not a big deal, it's like Death Wish except the rapee also plays the role of Charles Bronson.
>>one literally says "Fuck men!"
and you can respond to that however you like. If you respond with a fist pump and a "you go girl" then you're the cancer. If you respond to it with an eyeroll because it's an overreaction of a feminazi painting with broad strokes then you're a rational person.
The entire series felt like a 2019 digital version of an old Heavy Metal magazine, full of vignettes in different art styles dealing with different themes. I spent a lot of my youth sneaking off to read my friend's dad's Heavy Metal collection, and it was a very formative experience, so seeing LD+R brought me back to that part of my childhood. I've heard that some of the people behind LD+R wanted to make it a new Heavy Metal series, and they did a great job capturing that feeling. It's somewhat of a shame that they couldn't get the Heavy Metal name and rights associated with it, but LD+R is as close to the next best thing as we'll ever get.
Yes. Watch Aquila, Zima Blue, Secret War, and The Chase.
>entertainment media made for a global audience doesn't exclusivily shill to white "conservative" unfuckable faggots
the irony is that you've always been the only retards whining about "social justice." The irony is that the "sjw" meme in 2014 was literally started by Russian propagandists to train dissafected virginal retards how to radicalize into sjws that get triggered about everything in their culture, so that they're always reflexively motivated to act against it
>MUH SJWS
reality has a liberal bias.
Reality also has bears and typhus. What's your point?
>DUDE FUCK MEN LMAO
yes it's not like that singles out 50% of the world's population
>bears
there you go again, can't go 2 minutes without subconsciously or consciously thinking about gays and sjws.
Did a lot of them seem poorly written to a lot of people? I went in with zero information on the series and at about the halfway mark it felt like I was going to have to settle for "netflix" quality. Was the one that relied almost entirely on mocap and exposure filters supposed to razzle dazzle people (the naked chinese chick one)? The last three better fucking produce.
Rather fuck an otter, desu. Nice strawman, though.
it was a joke you dingus🙁
Nigger shut the fuck up
t. /pol/
how dense are you really?
They're literally 5 minutes long each. You have nothing better to do obvi
I was really expecting the writing to be much better consider how much people are praising it despite each episode being like 10 minutes. Nothing made sense and everything just felt random
brainlet millennials detected. do you need wacky jack black to narrate everything for you so you can follow along with the plot? there's absolutely nothing confusing about any of the episodes.💢

Why is the celebration of the murder/suicide of 3000 years of Western Philosophy a good thing? and disgusting or silly as it was Yea Forums was still one of the last dying embers of that free expression.
you all cant be shills...but why are you so empty inside?
Don't drag Mariya into your bullshit.
Animator here. For about nine years I've gone to the local theater to watch a curated set of the nominated Oscar shorts, to which about two-thirds are pretty good and one or two are amazing.
That being said, I used to think the Academy would screen whatever went through the submission process and give out the award based on their limited perception of what's out there. So with this knowledge I used to think this would mean there were possibly dozens of brilliant animated shorts - from those outside the CalArts pipeline (my alma mater), or some random creator on Vimeo, maybe someone who has aged out of the AJA's or dropped out before they could show their thesis film -- NOPE.
After finishing this series, I have a newfound appreciation that they actually DO know quality when they see it. None of these would survive a preliminary pass (and this is from a selection committee that's in bed with Disney / Pixar). These shorts were fairly mediocre, but most were visually spectacular so full marks there. I know you're probably thinking who gives a fuck, these aren't made for that kind of target audience or any kind of recognition / awards. I understand that, I'm just here to tell you that these are especially poor in their storytelling capacity and I felt as though I was watching a series of cut-scenes from the middle of video games that I've never played.
>Imagine being this autistic
>tough male protagonist is loud, curses every other word, and doesn't know how to say "fuck" artfully
>fucknut was used as an insult toward a monster
>cat used as a plot device
How to tell which shorts were written by a woman 101
>Cat used as a plot device
Implying the episodes actually had a plot
